Members JWDrama1980
There were many positives about the first week such as the sets, the costumes, and the actors. Overall the acting on the show was above average compared to other daytime soap operas premieres. The character that intrigued me most was Leslie. I agree about the dialogue being a mix bag: especially the exposition dialogue. Lines like "Are you the Salami Police?" and word choices like "shabbily" does comes across as campy or odd. I worried about Karla Mosley and her acting choices. She plays the lowkey scenes great, but once she goes "over the top", the acting is all over the place (and not in the fun campy way). I haven't watch 5 episodes of a current daytime soap in years. I'm excited to see what comes next.
Members Planet Soap
Friday was good. Loved the cliffhangers. New Dollar Bill is a great villain. His mistress is puzzling though. Does she really expect everyone to have sympathy for her or is this just an act? I got flashes of Katherine Chancellor when Dani begged for Bill to stay with her. But then she turned into Stephanie Forrester: she knows her man is no good, and won't hesitate to call him out, but she still wants him. As the old saying goes: Don't let a man tell you he doesn't want you more than once. Even Bill *the master gas lighter* told her to have some pride. I'm still puzzled as to why the entire family went to that wedding. Kara Mosley looks so young, Nowhere near her 40s, so it was surprising to see Dani with full blown grown children. Speaking of great black villains I would love to see the Rj Gannon actor make an appearance on BTG. Edited March 2 by Planet Soap
Members Contessa Donatella
I do not worry about spoilers. If I see them, fine. If I don't, fine. Just easy-going about them.

Members skiman12082004
What a great week of drama from BTG. I thoroughly enjoyed each episode. Michele Val Jean deserves all of her flowers. Standouts for me week one are Nicole, Vanessa, Bill, Naomi and Andre. It's obvious a lot of care and consideration went into casting this show. I am willing to give the other performers, that are new to daytime, more time to settle in. Overall, BTG deserves an A- for week 1 from me. Members kalbir
Hahaha! First Silk Press Sheila, now New Dollar Bill. Karla Mosley is 43 going on 44, and its not like she's the first actress in the mid-40s age range to play mother to grown adults. Case in point, when Melody Thomas Scott was 44, she was playing mother to 26 year old Joshua Morrow and 25 year old Heather Tom.

Members BetterForgotten
In that Michael Fairman interview, Marquita Goings (Haley) mentioned she had played a young Debbi Morgan on two previous projects after a fan wrote in and said she bore a resemblance to her. I know Haley said her mom is dead, but what if that’s a lie? What if they’re estranged for some reason, and her mom is like 100x more trifiling than her, lol. Of course, played by Debbi herself.

Members Paul Raven
Mixed feelings about the cliffhanger. If it's a fantasy that would leave a sour taste but if not, what will be the fallout? If it's all brushed aside then BTG is already leaning into the trope that has destroyed other soaps of letting criminal/psycho acts be brushed aside. Dani would be arrested and need professional help after pulling a stunt like that.
Members Vee
A scorned ex pulling a stunt at a wedding is pretty typical soap to me. Please register in order to view this content
