I love that, with Nicole being a therapist, she can calmly and gently tell someone the truth. But I get the sene Dani doesn’t like hearing the truth. 
 

And as others have mentioned, it looks as if Martin has indeed killer someone. Does Smitty know this? And who was he on the phone with? Is he having an affair?
