Can’t wait to see the episode in its entirety because those Tracy/Jason/Sonny scenes in the last half were fantastic. I never thought I’d see the day where the show would have Jason side with Tracy over Sonny. JE and SB delivered excellent performances.

Oh now I’m excited! Anytime I get a Quartermaine verbally giving it to Sonny, it’s a fantastic day.

Ohhhhhh that sounds juicy.

And I admit and failed to mention how much I've been liking that Jason's stance on the mob has continued nicely since post-PM.

For those keeping track, Emily Culliton and Scott Sickles wrote the episode and Robert Markham directed it.

Also cool. Thank you.

Hehe. Same. Once Nina told Sonny about what happened yesterday, I knew it would be a good set of scenes, but that sounds awesome.

Today is likely pre-empted, due to ABC News breaking in the first minute of show.

Episode back on about 30-minutes in.

They ran a scroll announcing full episode beginning at 8 eastern.

Oh my! Jason choose Tracy (well Monica really) over Sonny regarding the kids - and she hugged him and he actually reciprocated. And Tracy's appeals really did win him over too, judging by the way they were staring into each other's eyes towards the end.

And then of course poor Sonny's having heart palpitations outside after leaving.

Of course, Sonny's scenes with Tracy before Jason arrived were also good too.

On the other side of town unfortunately Joss has blown it already, having - as Anna said - tipped off Cyrus to where he should cover his tracks.

I liked the scenes between Drew and Alexis regarding Scout

Felicia had plenty to do, firstly trying to calm Carly and Jason down and later with Emma at the bar.

The bar scenes were ok too, though I'm annoyed Cody lost all of his money, he really shouldn't have been so stupid.

And I enjoyed the Liz/Lucky scenes, first with Cyrus and later on their own.

Jason has evolved a bit over the last few years since his return in the late 2010s re: the Qs, largely IMO because the show was trying to compensate for Billy Miller's NuJason/Drew being much closer to them and to Monica than the genuine article was and they wanted to make Steve look good too (which is why they also tried to graft the Drew/Jake relationship onto him, which never quite worked). But this is a big step and Steve did bring it.

I think the roots of it, though, are in the scenes in the 2000s that Jason had after Alan and A.J.'s deaths where he apologized to both of them for his choices and mistakes. I think he even told A.J. (who was 'dead,' naturally) that he'd been wrong to take Michael from him. He was emotional at those times and again now. It's not about to make me care much for Jason, but he has changed minutely more and more over time for various reasons both in story and BTS.

If it's anything compared to the last time they had a moment, I'm going to be misty-eyed.

"Kai's not getting up! Kai's not getting up!"

On an episode with a sea of really good scenes, that was SO bad. None of the football stuff is working. Trina going to the game to watch Kai? Of course not -- she's in a booth at the bar with Gio, who has his back turned to the TV.

And don't get me started on the left turn (ANOTHER one) to Cody's character, writing him without any of the common sense they've spent the last year giving him.

I guess that goes to show how little Cody is thought of. Cuz he could be making trouble for Drew, too.
