It's excessive.  I side eyed the first child, but to give her two is a lot.  It limits where the character can go if Days does decide to bring her back.  She's so young at this point she'll have 5 kids by 30 lol.

I stopped watching Days about 6 months ago because all of Ron's worst tendencies had taken over the show.  I started watching again the day Doug died and enjoyed the last week of episodes.  Today reminded me why I stopped watching.  I like the cast but the writing is horrible.  I will tune back in at Christmas then stop watching again until the episodes written by the new team starts airing.

Well, you have two Alexander Kiriakis's currently.  Plus John/Johnnie.  Susan and Sarah have been used more than once.  If you go with kids getting named after someone the list gets long.

I've grown tired of these Johnny/Chanel cliffhangers that are usually resolved by blaming Body&Soul stuff.  I need Joy to either say that she didn't actually sleep with Johnny, he just passed out, or for Chanel to forgive him.  The fall preview seems to foretell that they'll stick together, so let's just get on with it.

Why do soap characters always shower in gross hotels (and then wear thick, comfy robes)?  That room looked dirty, I would wait to shower until I got home.  They're certainly not selling any shampoo by suggesting that fans should wash their hair in a disgusting bathroom.

I can remember two other instances of this: one on ATWT in the early 1990s, there were two Johns -- John Dixon and John Eldridge.  Around the same time on Y&R, there were also two Johns -- John Abbot and a lawyer named John.  I think his name may have been John Sena, or something like that.   There have no doubt been other occasions when this has happened, but those are two I personally remember.

Also, I get the trauma of not recognizing herself, but it is hard to have sympathy for Cat who had free reconstructive surgery and wound up looking like a supermodel.

And it's unreal that 90% of the hotel rooms on DAYS are paneled, even though paneling went out of style decades ago. Plus there's always a bedspread that looks like it's from some 70s porn movie.

I think Addie is so dated it's almost current now.  It's a very Gen Z kid name.

I actually didn't know Hope's middle name was Alice and Kayla's was Caroline.  Interesting.
