LOL, I don't think so, although liking Brad does probably qualify as a "minority" position, but don't worry about it, most of us inhabit those "minority" positions at one point or another! I certainly have.

About Kate Mansi & Kristina, I feel sure she is delivering exactly what Frank wants. And, he's not done, doing whatever to the character. He's seemingly going to push Kristina all the way to the edge AND then over the cliff.

They need to let Molly smack Kristina, that dig at the end of today saying Molly wasn’t really IRENE’s mother was so nasty.

I’m glad Ava went free as expected and Sonny and Alexis vs Ric and Ava was good stuff. They’re clearly pivoting to the Avery custody battle quickly.

Stella was right about Portia being unprofessional but I can’t stand Brad and hate her being used to prop him. Ew at him succeeding at adding himself to the seminar retreat group so he can stalk Lucas.

Do they just rework the same Deception script every time they’re featured? I’m glad Lois finally killed her proper accent but they need to come up with a new plot for this group ASAP.

Trina and Kai are getting a little repetitive for me and Tabyana Ali seems really nervous in their scenes in a way that makes her acting stiff. I still like Kai’s actor though and I hope they start building his character backstory some more.

Molly should've beaten the sh!t out of Kristina. Her murder mystery can't come soon enough.

The courtroom scenes were nicely acted. Considering how big of a deal they made of the trial the suspense fell flat.

-- Ooooooh, what spicy dialogue today! Kai and Trina both got to say "pissed." GH takes such chances and shows so much courage!

-- Trina and Kai arguing over this one class is hard to watch. Why don't they work on the project instead of arguing about it over and over? And spare me with the idea that Kai's playing for a bigtime college program when he has to beat Lanville in the next game.

-- This Home & Heart stuff is so bad. The Chat podcast insists that "Mickey Mouse is unhappy and they're cutting the budget." Is that true? Because if it is, how does stuff like this make it to air? Yeah, I realize they want to move product on their shopping website, but come on.

-- I LMAO when Brad's phone showed that the cost to register for the primary care physician symposium was $50. Do these writers research anything?  Registration would be anywhere from $500 to over $1000.

-- Those extensions and wig on Kate Mansi were a bit much.

Crossed a line & a line that should never have been crossed. Alexis needs to let Kristina have it, verbally, although even if she could work up to it & say it, just blast her, Kristina would just go to Sonny, which may be what we saw in the end of show preview of next day.

Yeah, that's the only way Kristina & Sonny can get their vengeance against Ava.

Agreed.

That "story" where Tracy convinced Lois to "talk right" wasn't really a story at all, just one huge waste of time. The writers have no business writing things that lame. At least it's over.

Fans had said that Josh said in an interview that they taped Thanksgiving scenes. If so, where the heck were they?

Yeah, I do love that we always have sets...something actually got about Frank's production. But I also miss the longer scenes we had under PM. But I have also enjoyed how much the actor/actresses are eating up their scenes and giving them depth in spite of the quick scenes. Especially last week.

It's the love of Eileen Davidson.

But awww thank you for this.

Hahahaha. Happy Friday!!

I want Scotty on GH, too, but I wish they would write for him effectively. That hasn't been the case in years.

As the longest-running character on GH, debuting in 1965, I think he deserves a place on the canvas. (I know there are people who don't care about such things.)

The character of Julie on DAYS also debuted in 1965, but more than likely Scotty began appearing on GH before November of that year, which is when DAYS was launched.)

For me, part of the joy and comfort of soaps is watching characters whom we have known for years/decades. Newer viewers (well, newer compared to me) have told me that older characters are irrelevant to today's audiences and could easily be discarded, but I want to see people like Scotty Baldwin, Jill Foster, Julie Williams, Maggie Horton, etc. on screen.

While soaps cannot be top-heavy with dozens of characters over 60 (bringing in fresh blood has always been important), I truly believe that even youngsters in the audience enjoy seeing the vets. Alice Horton, Lila Quartermaine, Bert Bauer, Katherine Chancellor: younger viewers loved them as much as we, the oldtimers, did.

If Leslie Charleson or Denise Alexander are ever up to appearing on GH again, I'd happily accept them in any capacity.

Seeing Rachel Ames as Audrey Hardy again (I know this is dreaming in Technicolor) would make me ugly cry.

    • Am I remembering correctly that the Madison's lived in a Spanish revival-style house? I have a vague recollection of the fireplace looking especially Spanish in style. It is unusual that Montecello had so many architectural styles.  Obviously, that might occur IRL.  But, look at other east coast soaps and there is a definitive style that is throughout (because it was styled by a set decorator) regardless of the income of the occupants.
    • @kalbir MSW was a powerhouse for CBS. Angela Lansbury was a superb actress. In 1985, TV viewers were tiring of the primetime soaps and the like. People wanted storytelling and MSW was great at that and had great guest stars. Storytelling -- an amazing and novel concept. CBS Daytime by 1985 was beating ABC so CBS was on the upswing.
    • I'd say just the opposite - conflict means they will find out and then be at odds. For the limited amount of time people on this show have conflict (if they aren't named Nina or Ric, I guess).
    • Totes mcgoats (aka I agree). But, now the character needs to move forward.  Clyde's exit was 12/11/24.  It is May.  She and Chad have been on one date. I don't think they've slept together. And she was only planning on sticking around for a year.
    • That is one of the best insults I've heard in a long time.  I burst out laughing when Kat called Eva that.  LOL Their scenes, of course, were really good.  Colby and Ambyr have so much chemistry.  The only thing I'd change is Kat saying "you're dead to me."  That's a phrase usually said about someone you care about.  I would've preferred something like "You will never be my sister," or something similar to that.  Nice contrast at the end with both mothers/daughters:  Kat comforting/consoling her mother, and Eva being locked out by her mother.  Yeah, I wasn't a big of fan of the singing either, especially after your daughter's life has been destroyed.  What?  LOL And I also agree with those that thought Dana/Leslie's scenes with the Dupree's didn't feel right since Eva is not a Dupree....unless she is.  But as of right now, she's not.
    • Trisha Mann-Grant, Ambyr Michelle, Sean Freeman are destined for bigger and better things. They need to move on as soon as their initial contracts are done.
    • Daphnée Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant on Instagram live, 5/5/2025 just concluded, saved here https://www.instagram.com/p/DJSsYb7PDv8/
    • I really need to see Anita in a scene that isn't with a family member. In fact, I would have preferred that she would have gotten rid of the mob and had a one on one with Leslie to lay down the law with her.  I'm going to say it, Mike Manning has been completely lifeless on this show. Other than people's superficial fondness for him, I don't get what they see in him as an actor. I never saw him on DAYS though. The show had another really strange cut right before the opening credits where it looked like they almost cut off Nicole mid-sentence.  Kat/Eva are carrying this show on their backs. Lock them in for lifetime contracts, I beg.
    • There's a 1980 scene of Victor and Katherine in the Chancellor Estate living room where they went over a contract that would put Victor in charge of Chancellor Industries, but it was rewritten that Katherine brought Victor to Genoa City so he could run Chancellor Industries.
    • Put me in the minority in being happy about Cat not being Abby. After the two adult recasts played tag with the role, it's time for a few years of rest. I have a huge list of things I hate about RC's writing, but that choice was not one of them.
