5 grown adults plus Gio and the day player principal should not have been wasted on this Violet nonsense, especially characters like Lois and Tracy.

Pretty much all the other groups of scenes today could have been extended out and been more interesting if we left Violet on the cutting room floor (forever).

Agreed with everybody that Lucky and Aiden were the best part of today. This needed to happen and I’m glad that we finally got it. I hope GH continues to build the relationship between the two of them. It'll be interesting to see how they handle it.

I’m also still really impressed by NuAiden.

I liked Lucas’ “reunion” with Wiley too, and the aftermath of it, but yeah scenes like that needed to happen like four years ago. The way Lucas, and Brad too actually, were just dropped once the truth about Wiley came out was ridiculous.

And at this point, if the rumors don’t turn out to be true, Chase and Brook Lynn should just get a happily ever after and leave town with Violet. I’ll miss them (the adults anyway lol) but what else can they do with them?

Michael & Nelle's son = Jonah (believed to be dead)
Shiloh & Willow's son = Wiley (adopted by Brad & Lucas)

Wiley died (SIDs) and was swapped with Jonah, who assumed the role of Wiley. So, Brad & Lucas were raising Jonah, under what Brad believed was their adoptive son, Wiley. Brad revealed all, and Lucas returned Wiley to Michael.

Can only hope the right choice is made.

And now that my system is FINALLY back to working...

Awww at the Liason hug. That said...how weird is having Liz, Lucky, Jason, and Sam in the same room after all these years. It felt like 2007 without the fan-warring. lol. And that Jason/Sam scene felt eerily final which makes me wonder if it is going down this coming Friday or next?

As for THE reunion...it was all right. I love the flashback...feisty Liz and that chemistry. That said...I felt more of a reaction to Liz with Ric and even Jason than Lucky. Though I love the scenes. That said...THE reunion for me will be Laura and Lucky. Tick, tock.

Oh? Hat Dad really IS leaving? Wow. And we might not be seeing Neka much now, too? Her I liked and wanted to see more of. I wonder if it's a way to phase out the nightclub now that Curtis is off running Aurora and mixing it up with Quartermaines. Though I guess that means that Ms. Wu won't be trying to muscle in on it, too.

And while I didn't like PM/ER attacking the Ava/Trina friendship or doing it in a jarring way at the end at least, I am happy to see that it's back. And they can confide in each other again. I love that Trina is going back to college and that Ava respected her enough that she was trying to get her to run the gallery.

I don't like what they are doing with Portia, but if they are going to paint her as the villain, BK is playing it to the hilt. It is giving Eileen Davidson very slow descent to villainy DAYS circa late 90s while you can still sympathize with her...not that Portia is in the wrong in the first place IMO. Cuz those Portia/Brad scenes were catty.

Hehe. In to think I used to think the opposite and now we are two peas in a pod.

Holy [!@#$%^&*] that’s crazy! And they wrote them out after it was resolved? Seems like a waste.

Again my only exposure to JJ was his last run so I’m in the same boat with you. The constant crying hasn’t started back so at least there’s that.

I was waiting for your thoughts! So happy I’m not alone in thinking there was more of a spark between Ric and Liz. Ric looks at Liz like she’s the most important person in the world when they’re together. But honestly in general I find Hearst to be a more alive performer than JJ.

I am not trying to change your mind or anything, but JJ's last stint did him no favors.  It was pretty dreary.  I think you might like JJ's run as a kid/teen/young adult.  He was quite charming, IMO.  Although if you are more familiar with GV's Lucky it might be too different.  The 3 Lucky's almost feel like entirely separate characters for me tbh.

    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).

    • I did some research and the story wrapped up with Eric,a caretaker responsible for Georgina's death who then  tried to do away with Laurie but a vision of Georgina spooked him and he smashed into a mirror, dying of glass wounds. So there was a supernatural element. I wonder if the Brody character in the credits was Eric Brody?
