Same.

Also same.

JASON. Especially right now...well before the New/Old Writers came back.

Outside of that...I'm liking her with Ric so far though it's doomed to fail. As for Lucky...I'm curious to see them together to see how each character has grown since 2011 (?) when Lucky was on last, but I don't feel they will be good if they are still stuck emotionally back in 1999.

Complete snooze. Who thought this would be interesting?

Totally agreed. The correct emotion was being conveyed and it’s very realistic for siblings to go off on each other like this for less in real life.

Good to see we’re keeping Kristina as a complete as.shole. Everything Molly said to her today was true. I have no idea what Alexis was thinking knowing how Kristina is still acting. I’m glad Molly basically let her know she’s not even going to bother looking to Alexis for support. Hopefully we see her bonding more and more with Ric.

Really liked the bonding scenes today of Ric and TJ.

In general they’re doing a great job getting Ric all over the canvas.

Hehe. True.

I call it pandemic body also because it's on actors who I don't find attractive whatsoever, but with the extra 'junk in their truck' so to speak...I admit I do a double take. Michael Mealer on Y&R also had a similar thing happen during 2020...and recently I feel due to his girl also having a baby. Don't find either guy attractive normally, but add a little bit of weight and I'm looking at them like a piece of meat. lol. Let me quit...this heatwave must be getting to me.

Yeah, that's another shoe that I'm waiting to drop...Willow finding out about Nina/Drew. And for it to have full impact, I felt we needed to see all three characters' point of view. It's like the kiss felt like Willow started it more than it was just in the moment for both of them to me due to the acting and direction. So I was happy to see Willow verbalizing that aloud. Nina/Drew (up to that point) have discussed their whatever they are and slowly allowed their feelings to grow. But they had not at the same time discuss their REAL feelings...only their feelings were growing. I would say Nina has verbalized it more than Drew before the writing regime change. So Drew for me was the only hold-out. Was he really being an old school ABC cad, feeling flattered, or just confused? I feel under the new/old regime, we got what Drew was thinking with his talk with Curtis. And I respect they filled in the hole that was missing in that triangle to make it work.

It now feels even more juicier and even more messy than it already does. And outside of the nuances that PM put into this story being pretty much gone, the triangle is still feeling soapy. And I cannot wait for it to explode even though it is no longer one of my favorite parts of the show...which it was under PM.

Yeah, I feel that long term.

Right now, part of the fun and potential is the fact that it is pushing Molly closer to him. And it humanizes Ric (even more than his Liz redo) because he is really feeling like the only one who has Molly's back. And now TJ is growing closer to him, too?

Drama!!!

For sure!!! Which is why it should been a one (or two) scenes with Lois and be done. Having Tracy move on Olivia is just a way to keep this slapsticky tone that this writing regime like to do for no reason than silliness and I'm not here for that.

Damn.  Do people not have siblings?  I kid, I kid.

LOL   I do wish we would get MORE screaming scenes with dynamics like this.  Screaming matches between siblings - relatable.  Screaming matches between parent/child - relatable.   To me, it just adds more realism to situations.

I am praying that this character is not tied to OLTL. It's time for Frank to let OLTL go. It's dead. Move on. No more characters from other ABC soaps. They already flopped with making Ava Delia's daughter. They flopped trying to assimilate OLTL characters on the canvas. They flopped when they mentioned the Loving murders and had them hiding out in the Alden manor once upon a time. Just stop.

And Tommy would've been the most logical choice as it would've further tied Liz to Lucky's story as her cousin is involved. I mean it was right there for the taking. I don't get how the writers, production, or even the network didn't see it.

    • Yep, that scene was at the conclusion of the Derek Thurston vs George Packard storyline, when Kay decided neither of them should run Chancellor.  By the time she put Victor in charge, Victor had been on the show for months & months with his Rolls Royce, his ranch, and Newman Enterprises.  SONY released some Y&R "trivia cards" in the late 1980s, and one of the questions was "who brought Victor Newman to Genoa City?" The answer on the back of the card is "Kay Thurston, to run Chancellor Industries", and it's a wrong answer lol.
    • I think someone said it did exist, but I can't remember.
    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
    • I 100% agree but I think this is due to how the show is structured. It's a one family show which means there are no people in her age range that could be used as friends or contemporaries of her. The show definitely needs a second main family. I am glad someone finally said this. Especially now that the cast is gelling in their roles, he stands out like a sore thumb. No energy, no chemistry with anybody. He is just there.  I thought that was odd as well! The previous scene would've worked better as a tag for the credits.
    • That's the one and only Carrie Nye (Mrs. Dick Cavett) as Susan Piper, a deadly realtor. I don't want to spoil a lot if you ever want to see those episodes. She returns as another character in 2003. I think Grant has aged well and he always did a good job at being ripped without going too far, but he was never entirely my cup of tea either. I did think John Bolger was hot.
    • Totally agree. KKL looks great! It makes the Widge groveling so bizarre. Brooke needs to leave FC and with $B's/Liam's funding launch a rival fashion house with Hope, Rick, Katie and a secret designer. The best scenario is that Rick has been absent because he's been with very much alive C2, who is revealed on the runway as the secret designer. It'll never happen because B&B is comfortable just focusing on FC and the Forresters Marones v. Logans. But it'd been so much more interesting if the Spencers/Logans united.

    • Haha that scarf thing did go on a bit too long, very odd. And what a young Rick!  I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I just never got the physical appeal of Grant Aleksander, but he's definitely a great actor. Who is the older lady around the 8:30 mark, and also ends the episode, alone and in pain? She seems like a really interesting character. I love the smoky voice and sultry, snaky vibe she seems to have.
