You guessed wrong and I guess there is no need to be ironic to someone who was nothing but polite to you in this thread.
Unless you have other issues and this forum is the place where you let yourself run wild.

This is not the impression I had though

I've met royalty in my life, believe it or not..., and I've worked with millionaires... and let me tell you... One time I asked one guy who was staring at me... if he could be so kind to bring me a bottle of mineral water from the nearest store... I thought he was staff at the event we were doing. He said yes, I gave him money and he came back with the water. Very polite. Very casual. I was thirsty.

Then later one actress friend came at me and told me - do you know who that is... It's so and so multi-millionaire with these legendary relatives that have connections with the entire world. The guy looked... like he needed a proper shower.

Looks can be deceiving is all I'm saying. Nothing more. You don't have to look like something to be something.

@Sapounopera @Antoyne I don’t care much for Adam Huss as Nik either. I’d like an actor with more presence in the role if they keep him on canvas.

I’m so glad to have Jonathan Jackson back. They seem to be writing Lucky more adventurous like Luke which works for me. I really liked his dynamic with the new doctor as well.

I liked all the hospital stuff with Laura getting the info on Lulu’s diagnosis from Porsha and getting the ball rolling on a liver transplant. Dante and Sam’s scenes were also pretty good, can’t wait to see how Lulu puts their relationship to the test.

Jane Elliott is such a master, Tracy overhearing Chase and Brook Lynn discuss Lulu while gardening and then running off to the hospital to visit Lulu at the end was so good, glad they didn’t forget their dynamic.

Brook Lynn recapping her history with Lulu was good history play as well but made me miss Adrienne Leon a bit, not gonna lie. I wonder what secret they’re hinting at her wanting to tell Chase. Could Gio be her kid from the time she was offscreen in the 00s?

Speaking of Gio, I liked seeing him encourage Lois and the slightly cockier dialogue play they gave him but Lord they’ve got to come up with something better for Rena to do lol, I was hoping this accent insecurity would wrap up after last week.

It was cool to see Robert and Anna scenes though I hope Tristan Rogers is alright. Glad Robert got on Anna for her Valentin obsession.

Brennan and Carly continue to have great chemistry. The idea of Jason working for the WSB is also much more appealing than seeing him be Sonny’s flunky again or moving coffee bean bags.

Looking forward to Alexis vs Ric and Tracy giving Dante some lashings tomorrow.

I can understand that. But, at the same time, to the best of our knowledge, Tyler Christopher did not have Greek-Russian ancestry. He was Scottish, English and German. But his darker features helped him, and Adam Huss has those features in a much more subtle way. Again, we've not yet see Huss beyond pinch-hitting for Marcus Coloma (who shouldn't have been cast), and he hasn't really played Cassadine much. I could see Huss vs. Constance Towers' Helena, but I can see why others wouldn't.

In truth, to recast Nikolas again would be futile from my opinion, especially since it's clear they're dedicated to Huss' work in the role and he's willing to work when called.

Him not being Greek or Russian has nothing to do with it. I am Greek lol, but I think that a German or an English actor with dark hair would be a better fit for the part. Someone like Rudolf Martin who played Anton on All My Children for example.
I understand perfectly what you say though.

    • Yes, of course, all of those servants added to the overall picture at AW & also people had relationships with those servants! I like it when Anita asks after one of the servants at the club, how their children are doing & like that.
    • Great scenes between Marlena and EJ today. Paula and Jeanne are making EJ have more depth than Ron had during his long drawn out tenure.
    • Might as well say it, Minority opinion, granted, but I like Joss & I'm okay with this WSB story & i hope that Emma will be their next recruit & she & Joss can be partners.
    • Thanks again @Paul Raven  The Arlene/Ben/Betsy triangle is one I wish I could see for myself as on paper it doesn't tend to excite me but I can see how well-constructed it was. I wish I could see the Rick/Meg relationship too, although I wish they'd had him genuinely fall for Meg after he gets together with Cal. The whole Brooke/Deacon/Bridget story on B&B was horribly damaging to Brooke as a character but it was dramatically very sound because I could completely believe Deacon would fall for messy and vulnerable Brooke after finally settling down with the more docile Bridget.

    • According to the head writer list, it seems the show may have started to fall apart while either the Schneiders or Upton were writing.  And when it started to crumble, it crumbled fast.  It was sad to see everything Labine had brought to LOL be disassembled.

Welcome back!!! And I see Abe and Paulina got a new apartment too, which is just a redress of John/Marlena’s, Steve/Kayla’s, etc. But it looks kinda nice. And I enjoyed his scenes with Chanel. It added another perspective to everything that’s been going on with her and Johnny. And Abe using his own history with Lexie to comfort Chanel was a good idea. Plus, it also provided us with more suspicion/red herring about Johnny possibly shooting EJ. I’m looking forward to see what happens between her and Johnny. And I’m so glad that the two of them are on the frontburner now.  Speaking of Johnny, I still have no problem with him going to work for Titan. The drama could be so good, especially once EJ finds out. To me, it seems like another realistic reaction to everything that’s been happening to Johnny lately. It doesn’t seem random and over the top either. And I like that they remembered to have Johnny tell Xander that he has no corporate experience whatsoever. Surprisingly, the two of them work well together. And so do Carson and Deidre. I love how the Marlena/Johnny relationship has been featured so much.  Kayla was still strong and kicking ass today too. The writer change has helped her/Mary Beth so much. But I do admit we should’ve seen Steve trying to get into Dr. Russell’s lab rather than Kayla instructing him over the phone.  And unfortunately, Chad and Cat still don’t seem to be doing much for me though. The cliffhanger was ok too.   Btw, Days was trending at #4 this morning on Peacock
