Bleh. Chadam redux. Snooze. That pairing only worked somewhat with Justin Hartley as Adam, yet they keep trying to make fetch happen. That goes for the whole character of Chelsea, who is somehow still around more than halfway through the year of our Lord 2024. Sick of the sob story. Again, Mal Young made the right decision to bounce MCE, as talented as she is. One of the few good decisions he made during his disastrous tenure, and even then it was long overdue.

Kyle’s bitter falling out with Diane (and Jack) could have potential, but like everything on Y&R it feels constrained by JG’s shallow writing and low budget.

Is Kyle right or he being a spoiled brat? I think it might be a bit both. I also think that his firing is the right thing to even if Diane didn't really now what she was doing.

Yikes, an out of the blue Chadam redux is something nobody wanted yet Griffith gave it to us anyways. 🤮🤢 This whole OCD story is already rubbish & unwatchable. Based on social media reactions, I dread what the next plot point is going to be….

Why couldn’t we just have Genoa City celebrate the 4th of July instead? Better yet, why wasn’t Thursday’s episode a classic repeat? 

I am amused that Phyllis referred to Claire as "Scary Poppins".

LOL I meant to comment on that earlier too.

I think this Kyle/Summer story would have worked better if they were still married or at the very least on the verge of reconciliation. At least it would explain better why Summer would want to keep Kyle on his leash. But yes Kyle is behaving like the spoiled entitled brat he is. 

Thankfully Josh Griffith hasn't gone all The Hand That Rocks the Cradle w/ Claire.

I agree, they could have maybe showed the 4th of July 94 episode! That was the only episodes aired that week, as the other days were preempted for OJ. 

Is summer just not a thing in Genoa City anymore? Why are they all wearing coats and long shirts?

I missed when Genoa City would acknowledge summer with the annual 4th of July pool party at the Newmans. I was just thinking that the other day in fact.

Well, considering it felt like they wore summer dresses all winter.... it makes sense, LOL!
