:D That's fine. It will feel more like a present when it's finally arrives. :D

That cover's funny. Ms.Q should give them lessons on Photoshop 'cause they certainly didn't do the picture inlay very well.

On SOC today there was the 'devistating' news that TG was leaving, and another posting saying that LnL were the given for sweeps. We've just got to endure the storm because rags to LnL diehards to gossips are going to have Tracy being out.

And I agree MJ, we've waited so long, but this home stretch is killing us... two weeks tomorrow until LuNacy's return (hopefully Tracy will return before that).

Just a reminder if any of you are interested in being in the chatroom with NLG's political chat tonight that JE is a guest at...

You don't need to be a member of the NLG board to be in the chat.

Here is the link that explains it. I believe transcripts will be available aftewards. The chat is from 8-9pm EST and lasts for an hour about where you can just watch what the actresses and rep. are posting and discussing and their responses. After that, the ywill open it up to regular posters to join in the discussion and the actresses will answer some of the questions posted on the other threads.

http://nancyleegrahn.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=Politics

I am going to attend it and have posted several questions.

I will bring over a transcript here with relevant parts and responses when it is available.

what a bummer...some troll crashed NLG's chatroom right at 8pm sending 1000 IPs at once crashing the room they said .I swear it was one of the whackos from soapdish who was calling them all sort of names earlier.

They are going to post the transcript of the chat as soon as it is available and then they will answer questions in the thread I believe. Bummer. I was looking forward to that.

This is what I got from the SID magazine

Tracy Fan They answered your question on the BUB:

There is an article. If you want to type it up I can but to answer your question Luke and Laura will reunite the week of October 20th says a show rep, "but Tony is back the week before."

Anon is there anything on Tracy mentioned at all within the Luke returns article or is it just a LnL article or just in the ins and outs section? Thanks.

Any spoilers Tracy/luke related?

Thanks so much!

Nothing on Luke and Tracy. The article was more on Laura and some on luke.

Someone left this from me (the Tracee from SZ)

Sorry I meant to add for the Tracy fan who was asking about spoilers for her, she has one in the new SOW for the week of Oct. 13. It says "Tracy hunts for the wayward Luke."

so hopefully that means we get to see her hunt for him. Wonder where she is hunting?

Why would she be determined to find Luke for Lulu when she knows Laura is awake???

She wouldn't... which makes me think that was all a red herring. She wouldn't have spoken that way in front of Laura, she wouldn't have kept that secret from Luke no matter how much it cost her, and she would be the first to bully Laura into helping Lulu publically.

I don't know if anyone else here has said this, but I am convinced the storyline is going to be that BOTH Luke and Tracy knew Laura was in and out. Maybe she was more out, than in at one point... and during Luke's absences Tracy takes it upon herself to check in on Laura. Maybe she knew Laura was REALLY out the other day, because she knows the woman now and can really tell. I think Luke and Tracy would also conspire to keep Laura's kids in the dark -- it's a total LuNacy scheme.

I like this scenario, because it means Luke trusts Tracy to care for Laura, not harm or manipulate her. And it's an extension to the HORRENDOUS LnL wedding storyline, where Guza et al played like Tracy didn't exist. This ending, sort of makes that story right. It's not that Luke duped Tracy, it's that he TRUSTED her to bring her in on the plot to HELP Laura.

I'm babbling, but you get my point...

We'll see.....

    • @Soapsuds Thanks for posting Night by night Mon 8pm The Rookies edged Gunsmoke but attracted younger(more desirable) viewers.NBC failed with Born Free/Smothers Brothers (how many different series did those 2 get??) 9-11pm  Maude/Rhoda/Medical Center dominated on CBS,but Football and Movies were competitive on an occasional basis. ABC tried  SWAT/Caribe later in the season and the former worked for them. Tues 8-11 pm CBS all the way Good Times, MASH, Hawaii Five O,Barnaby Jones. NBC had the fading Adam 12,Movie and Police Story mmm...don't see that listed? ABC Happy Days, which ABC decided to keep despite lackluster ratings, the Movie of the Week and Marcus Welby-once pulling big numbers but no longer. 8pm NBC had a new hit with Little House, easily beating Sons and Daughters, which was axed and replaced with Tony Orlando, which did much better. ABC had That's My Mama and the Wed movie. 9pm Cannon was the lead here as Lucas Tanner failed to capitalize on the LHOTP leadin. ABC continued the movie. 10pm Manhunter started strong for CBS but petered out and was cancelled. Petrocelli manged to beat Get Christie Love, which was replaced by Baretta-no ratings winner but ABC decided to renew. Thurs Another CBS night with The Waltons and a movie. ABC counterprogrammed with Odd Couple/Paper Moon then Barney Miller/Karen NBC did even worse with Sierra and replaced it with Mac Davis which improved ratings quite a bit. However, it was moved to 9pm for Sunshine/Bob Crane 9pm Some good numbers for ABC with Streets of San Francisco fending off Ironside,Archer and Mac Davis. 10pm Harry O had a slim victory over Movin On Fri 8-11 NBCs best night Sanford/Chico/Rockford/Police Woman. 8pm CBS had high hopes for Planet of the Apes but it bombed. Replacement Khan did even worse. Paul Sand and We'll Get By were tossed in at the end of the season. With poor lead ins the Friday movie didn't deliver. ABC's odd line up saw Kodiak flop, Six Million dollar Man struggle and Texas Wheelers  quickly cancelled. Kung Fu was brought in @8 and Six Million moved to 9. Then Kolchak took over at 8 and Hot*l Baltimore/Odd Couple 9-10. Despite controversy Hot*l flopped. 10pm ABC tried Kolchak then Baretta and finally Get Christie Love Sat CBS lead  with #1 AITF then Paul Sand/MTM/Bob Newhart/Carol Burnett. Paul Sand lost too much of the lead in so CBS spun off The Jeffersons and it was a smash. NBC did OK with Emergency (which beat Paul Sand on occasion, thus hastening that show's demise) and a movie. ABC was a disaster with New Land/Kung Fu and Nakia all failing. They introduced a movie @9 and moved Kung Fu to 8. Sun  NBC  with Disney and Mystery Movie (Columbo McCloud, MacMillan and Wife/Amy Prentiss)did well. ABC flopped with Sonny Bono and recovered by moving Six Million Dollar Man from Fri as a lead in to the movie. CBS hoped Apples Way would be another Waltons but no, so Cher did what Sonny couldn't. Kojak and Mannix successfully finished out the night. Two other shows on the ratings list were Adams of Eagle Lake starring Andy Griffith. Only 2 episodes aired and did well, so I'm not sure what happened there. As for The Law it was a series follow up to a 2 and a half hour NBC special movie .

    • Trust is very easily lost and very hard to re-build.
    • Oh, I know it was. I was just talking about how it's not giving me parallels to Caroline dying. It's really as far from it as possible.  But about the foreshadowing - Hahahhahah. Yes. And you missed one - Liam googling - "what is cancer"...
    • GH 2-17-21 Denise Alexander's last appearance https://www.instagram.com/p/DJdjXgwJ1Ez/
    • @Maxim This Liam dying out of the blue was crafted in a hurry for three reasons: 1. To facilitate JMW's leave 2. To prop Steffy - 'Oh, Steffy has so much grace and moral superiority that she ignored everything that swine HoLo did to tell her for the sake of their daughters. Queen Stephanie would be so proud of her!' 3. Distracting Steffy enough to give Lunacy an easy way to slither into Finn's life. Once Luna discovers that Lame is dying, she'll play that card: 'Dad, life is too short and precious!' If this was an intentional story, we would've had the typical B&B foreshadowing - Liam faceplanting into a bowl of pasta, Lame missing meetings, being forgetful. Instead, Lame does an impulsive quick quit and $B doesn't even care enough to make a single attempt to get him back? Please.
    • https://www.tvinsider.com/1180503/denise-alexander-dead-general-hospital-lesley-webber/ Alexander made her soap opera debut as Lois Adams on The Clear Horizon in 1960, but her big break came in 1966 when she was cast as Susan Hunter Martin on Days of Our Lives while still attending college at UCLA. As Susan, Alexander played a host of dramatic tales, including murdering her husband David Martin (played by Clive Clerk) in May 1967 after the death of their son. “She started out as the bad girl and was thrown out of boarding school for smoking and drinking,” recalled Alexander to We Love Soaps TV. “The character caught on and sparked something with the audience, and that is how Susan became an important part of the show. I was there for almost seven years…. I had such a wonderful time on Days. It was like going to camp every day for me. I loved the people, loved the show, and loved what I got to do. They loved the character and liked me as an actor and gave me lots of neat stuff to do. I didn’t even ask for a vacation for five years because if I worked 365 days a year, I thought I was great. It was a very good time in my life.” In 1973, Alexander was in contract negotiations with Days when ABC offered significant perks to the actress to join General Hospital to play Dr. Lesley Williams. Though Alexander loved her time in Salem, she decided to leave. “It was [Days’ Executive Producer] Betty Corday who sent me to General Hospital,” Alexander told welovesoaps.net. “She said, ‘You must do this.’ So when I went to General Hospital..."

    • Now that GL and LOL synopses are being added I'd welcome requests for specific soaps from 1976.
