I can't believe I watched the whole episode without a ff.

Jessica my dear you dropped the ball.

The baby's reaction at the end after seeing Ari was so cute.

EJ reaction to not knowing at the end looked so fake.

I'm bored with Chanel and Johnny. Their ship sailed long time ago.

The baby was enormous, but totally adorable lol.

I still don't think JS is that bad.  She did decent today.  I wasn't cringing with any of her choices.  I was a bit worried about GV.  His face was so red when he was screaming at Sloan.

Maybe cause the truth wasn't as dramatic and thus not that explosive that I felt Jessica flat. I thought the scenes between Jessica and Greg picked up in the middle of their scenes.

That's totally fair.  A lot people seem to agree with you about JS too.  Anyway, I do get your point about the scenes not flowing very well, but I still thought they were good.  It was all done quite quickly and I think the scenes could have been better fleshed out over two episodes.

The only time I thought Ron Carlivati was capable of writing good material was his first day as HW at OLTL.  That's the ONLY time I've ever enjoyed anything that man has written.

I thought JS did better as the episode went on, and I kinda like her even though I know she's not the strongest. I don't think she necessarily plays layers, which is both about her being green and the way daytime is shot and written. But this setup did no one any favors. How lame to just... have her admit it to him in their damn studio apartment. I really thought GV was over-the-top at times, too.

This thing should've come out at the christening or some big party or SOMETHING.

*ANOTHER* DID story!? You have got to be kidding me. What a lazy unimaginative hack. And to get paid good money for such mediocrity.

The only upside is that BB is a good actor.

The actress playing Felicity is adorable, and I like the actor playing her brother. I hope they give them both some nice material to play.

I ran into a LOTD last night, I had jotted it down, about a month ago, and I just had to laugh. "No more secrets - ever." -Sloan to Eric

Yeah, right.

I am not personally perturbed by another DID story.

So far I do not care for Felicity but that could be me being slow to warm up to new folk.

It may be perverse but I rather like the fact that Chanel is avoiding Paulina. Anything at all to make these characters even slightly more interesting. Honestly, I don't know many who have bored me as much as I am bored with these people in Salem right now.

I hate this Kaiser Permanente ad!!!

All things being equal, I prefer a DID story over a long-lost twin, or another latex mask.  And I assume it will be a factor in the Abigail storyline.  Maybe Marlena will find the cure and win a Nobel Prize for Medicine?

My dream scene is a debate between Marlena and Rolf over medical ethics

Ari Zucker and Greg Vaughan continued to kill it today, especially when Nicole gave Eric the chance to say goodbye to Jude. Holly did pretty well too, for that matter. I wonder where they’re all going to go from here, especially since we know how it’s gonna end for Nicole. This is the A storyline on the show right now and it could go in so many different directions.

I’m not really sure why Maggie can’t clue Sarah and Xander in on her plans for a Konstantin but their scenes were nice. And I really hope that Xander’s attitude about Alex and Theresa and them moving in the mansion is foreshadowing for what’s to come. Xander vs. Alex would be great to see.

As for the rest of today, Rafe coming off like a tyrannical boss was unnecessary. And considering the scene of John and Steve vowing to stick together to take down Clyde and Konstantin, so was the rewrite about Konstantin’s daughter.

I prefer DID over those too, especially since they wrote that *wink wink* scene of Gabi meeting Everett and saying she had never seen him before in her life.

But I would preferred it to be a whole big con on Everett’s part, mostly because that would have explained all the continuity errors lol

    • I have to check out his Bela Garody on Search for tomorrow. He was one of the main reasons EON worked for me when I was watching. Truly unforgettable presence. Handsome in the most perverse and sinister way. They don't make faces like that anymore.
    • My favorite moment in SOAPDISH is the HW taking the star to the mall in NJ to improve "morale"!!
    • Oh no! The shoulder pads! I will mourn them when they're gone. Please tell me the head pieces and hats remained!?
    • Shout! TV has now added season 26. Not sure what the reasoning for that was, but maybe it was the one that was ready to go...
    • It's AWFULLY hard to tell.  But out of the (approximately) 16 weeks so far in 2025, Bryton has only had about 12 episodes.  That's significantly less than 1 per week.  Once the actor drops down to less than 1 per week for an extended period of time (such as a 39-week cycle), I start thinking there's no contract in place for him or her.  Surely these folks aren't tying themselves down to a show for a guarantee of 1 or 2 episodes a month.   If I counted right, Bryton has had 21 episodes in the past 24 weeks.  They're either (a) about to kick into high-gear & work his ass off to meet his minimum guaranteed appearances, or else (b) he ain't got a contract that guarantees him squat.
    • These contract guarantees of 1 ep per month are ridiculous. How can you even have a story if your character apprars 4-5 times in a month? It's sad.
    • It's hard to tell with some actors appearing on average 4 times in a month whether they're recurring or just on a low guarantee contract. Someone recurring  like Beth Maitland can be used a lot for several months then disappear. So the monthly tallies aren't enough to go by.
    • Of the so-called "contract" cast members, I'd venture to say these are recurring: Bryton James, Camryn Grimes, and (possibly) Michael Graziadei.  I've suspected since 2018 that Kate Linder and Christian LeBlanc are recurring.  And I believe we all know Miss Ordway is, because she said so. lol.
    • Dante blaming Gio instead of his dweeb son and the other dweeb was just ridiculous. Gio's paternity story is going in circles with no reveal. I've already started fast forwarding Drew and his stupid ho Willow's story. Kristina's story is beyond dumb with no great payoff.
    • Sarah (with the English accent) isn't just some random character.  Sarah was once the housekeeper for Eliot Dorn and Margo Huntington.  One of the following 2 scenarios happened a few months ago: (1):  One night, while Margo wasn't at home, and while Oscar the Doorman wasn't at his post, a burglar sneaked into the private elevator, rode up to the penthouse, stole several thousand dollars worth of Margo's valuable diamonds and pearls, and tied-up Eliot Dorn and Sarah the Housekeeper, ensuring that Eliot and Sarah couldn't pursue the burglar back down to the lobby or phone the police to apprehend the burglar. OR --  (2): Eliot Dorn was SLEEPING with Sarah the Housekeeper, and the two of them conspired to steal Margo's jewelry and went on a lavish spending spree and then tied THEMSELVES up to make it look as though a burglary had occurred in the penthouse. Margo Dorn currently believes Scenario #1 occurred, and she's rather annoyed that the "incompetent police" haven't located her stolen jewels yet.  Eliot and Sarah know that Scenario #2 actually occurred.  When Sarah stopped by the Unicorn and saw Eliot kissing Raven Swift, Sarah snidely said, "Oh! This must be Mrs. Dorn!  Nice to meet you, Mrs. Dorn!" Sarah knew good & damn well Raven isn't "Mrs. Dorn" because Sarah worked for Margo Dorn on a daily basis for many months.  That was Sarah's not-so-subtle way of announcing, "I'll be paying a visit to District Attorney Logan Swift and letting him know that his wife is sleeping with you, and I'll be paying a visit to WMON to let Margo Huntington know that you're sleeping with Mrs. Swift!"  lol.
