Members vanguard
I think you answered the question within your own post. They're attending out of respect for Bill's daughters who are their grandchildren.

Members Vee
Good thought, I agree. I suspect Bill blackmails them to be there to shine up his public profile. The Duprees turn the tables by showing up in mourning clothes. I thought Cady might be in that wedding shot but didn't go back and look. Well spotted! The comment in the TV Insider article by Clifton Davis about being there as long as he could was touching.
Members Joseph
I liked her as Jenn early on, for let's say her first tenure but the further guest appearances? Whew, nope

Members Joseph
Could be that, yes! Good thought! I'm just wondering how it will be For McClain and Lindstrom to work together after their rather recent separation? Even if they appear to have parted on good terms
Members Taoboi
Well one thing that I have really liked in the promoting of the show is how so many delicious things/tea are right there in plain sight. This. The Grande Dame. LOVE.
Members Chris B
The biggest joy of the Jon/Cady news for me is that we have this to look forward to all year and beyond. It's just amazing to think that we now have a fifth soap to surprise us with these announcements. We also know they're really trying to do good work at BTG so we can actually get excited by news like this. Another thing that I love is that they've been filming for months and we had no idea. If this was any other soap I feel it would've leaked. I hope this continues once the show is on the air! It's nice to be surprised.

Members NothinButAttitude
Right! I am tempted to lowkey go through every piece of footage and that has been released and study it like "Where's Waldo" b/c they are doing a stellar job of hiding stuff in plain sight.
Members GLATWT88
You saying "a fifth soap" really made me pause. I know many of us would never have imagined we would ever get a brand new soap opera again, especially in daily form and on network TV. Yet, tomorrow we get our first preview episode. I'm excited to be home tomorrow to watch it and discuss with you all here.

Members wonderwoman1951
have to wonder who’s editing cady’s wikipedia page… detailed accounts of her film, theater, and primtime work. but, this is it regarding daytime: Daytime television “McClain won Emmys for three of her four daytime drama roles — spanning three networks, over three decades.[3] In 2025, it was announced McClain had joined the cast of Beyond the Gates as Pamela Curtis.[4][5][6]”
