You make me laugh! But it's not funny, it's sad. Why did he pick that?!!!! Still to this day, I just hate it. And, on Twitter I asked Carolyn Culliton what she thought about being forever immortalized as Carolyn the gorilla & she said QUOTE I effin hated it! UNQUOTE. And, I took it to mean that she hated it both in the 80s & again in the ending!! And, ALL the fans hate it.

For ATWT I thought the AW crossovers were awful. I’ve started a rewatch with 1998 and I’m now at the beginning of 2000 and these crossovers were awful. The focus was on Jake and to a lesser extent Vicky, but I don’t think Jenson fit on ATWT at all (I also didn’t like her on AW). With that said, they could’ve broken them up and send her back to Bay City. I imagine the purpose of the crossover was to bring in AW viewers but a disrespectful move like that would never help achieve that.

I’ll admit that Jake fit in better than Vicky, but the real stars were Cass and Lila. I’m surprised they weren’t the ones to cross over full time.

I for one hated that they kept dragging Cass' butt over. I think the last time I saw him, he was blackmailing Carly and defending Iris. Or maybe that's just when I declared him dead to me.

I don’t see how ATWT intended to win over AW fans by killing off Vicky.

It’s interesting to note that AW, Texas, Somerset, ATWT, B&B, GL, and Y&R all take place in the same fictional universe. It doesn’t get as much attention as ABC’s soap world.

It was an awful, misguided decision to even do it. To be fair, in Eplin’s case, he still had a contract with P&G where they had to pay or play him regardless of AW being cancelled. Once that contract was over, Jake was killed off too. I’ve also heard Eplin was not popular on the ATWT set.

The Y&R/ATWT crossovers done in 2005 and 2007 were even worse.

Emily and Alison becoming happy hookers and friends with Amber (!) while Daniel Romalotti enjoyed the two as part of his porn addiction storyline. Yikes!

That's how RKK ended up back at AW but as Bobby Reno/Shane Roberts. At DAYS he had a pay or play contract with 2 years left on it when Corday fired him while he was on vacation. NBC intervened & made JFP take RKK after they literally paid him to sit at home for some amount of time.

At ATWT what I heard was that Tommy Eplin spent all of his time either in his dressing room or with Lesli Kay but that he didn't even try to get to know anyone else but her.

And also they had no choice but to kill off Vicky because of Jensen Buchanan's debacle of being on contract with both P&G and GH at the same time & boy, was that ever a lawsuit!

Just as a side note, an unfortunate one, there are a few people on here at SON who have told lies about me & there's someone who says I lie when I do not & there is no evidence that I do or have. But, this is a specific post which is nothing but lies about me where it is alleged that I was banned from certain boards back in the day. Never happened. I was never even on one board that was mentioned. And I called this poster out about these lies & they never made any reply.

About RKK here's a scan of the WLS interview where he talked about it. I don't have the WLS URL but if need be could find it.

They could have broken up Jake and Vicky and a single Jake could have stayed in Oakdale. Killing off Vicky was lazy writing and a lack of respect for Another World and had nothing to with Jensen's contract issues.

The lies that Robert Kelker- Kelly was forced onto Another World is ludicrous!! I can’t say her name but she tries to constantly spread makeup room gossip that just is not true. Epic fail! NBC could NOT force a Days actor onto Another World to play out a contract. Two different show owners. RKK was not in a contract with NBC. Epic fail on this lie.
