I said she's unapologetic, which she is but..
after that Kyle/Audra convo, he leaves and then
Audra texts him an apology "I handled that badly"
but I mean ... it's obviously just another manipulation from her.

I almost never root for villains but Zuleyka's Audra is mesmerizing!

She is! I love Audra. I REALLY want to know her backstory. Her charms though are totally due to the actress and the way she elevates the material.

As cheesy as this Clarie stuff is, I'm kind of loving it. I just wished they would have stretched it out a bit more before reaching this point. Really let her get in with the Newmans first. I truly have no idea what the hell is her motive, and I'm curious.

Talk about curious, but....half of Geneoa City lives in ONE hotel room at the Athletic Club, but Claire's aunt gets a house AND a bedroom!

A poster on another site was claiming this new set was Sharon's cottage redressed!

It is a nice cottagey set, if not a little over decorated. Maybe bits and pieces of other sets have been used. There are echoes of the Williams house with the door and staircase and the windows look a bit like the old Rawlins/Carlton house-who knows?

One think I liked was the sofa-a contrast to the cheap bulky number in the Chancellor set.

DC: I'm so happy you brought up her being a schemer! She's really she felt like an old-school soap vixen. What do you think of Audra being the return of a classic soap character?

ZS: I don't know where I read that before. I've heard that a few times already, and I think it's a compliment, right? I've been getting a few messages from fans telling me, “You remind me so much of old-school Jill (Jess Walton)!”

She Does! All she is missing is the big wh*re hair!

Question since I haven't watched much lately! Is Audra still sleeping with Tucker on The Side? If so I want Ashley To catch them and pull a Tea!

It was great to see Colleen Zenk again on TV. I just realized she was reunited with producer Vivian Gundaker and director Michael Eilbaum.

The rest of the show was so dull  Nina, Jill and Mamie wasted on generic meaningless stories.

So Heather and her daughter are back in Geona City yet no Paul.

I'd recast Paul.

I think they suddenly brought back Vail Bloom as Heather first to take over as Phyllis' attorney when CLB took leave for cancer treatment; and I speculate that they kept her on because of Christel Khalil eventually taking maternity leave.

Lucy has so many connections in town and I think the actress Lily Brooks O'Briant does a good job, and would be great if Griffith actually *wrote* a teen storyline but ... he probably won't.

I don't know if they'll ever address that Lucy's biomom was Daisy and her biograndmother is Sheila.

I'm fine with Heather being the stepmom who raised Lucy, and Phyllis being the annoying grandmother, LOL.

    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!

    • So, I have been in the hospital all week. I am close to being up to date on my soaps. Now I have to go to the Infusion Ctr daily to get IV antibiotics, for 6 weeks. I am frankly exhausted. A hospital is no place to be when you're sick. Hooked up to machines that go beep beep beep all day & night long. Someone wakes you up every hour on the hour for something, either to stick you with needles or to take your gosh-awful blood pressure for the umpteenth time. So, you don't get any sleep. Now I have a central line, upper right chest. After they "installed" it, I said, I am now Borg. They just stared at me. Apparently scifi is not general knowledge. What happened? I have an infection inside my big toe right foot & it burned the skin on my foot. The burned skin is already better. It was like a bad sunburn. The infection inside the toe is the issue. Oral antibiotics won't even get its attention. So, IV antibiotics plus time.

As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn.   From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.
    • I found an interview with Joseph Breen (Will Jeffries) where he mentions that Reva was put in a coma so Zimmer could go to Hollywood to do a pilot (OMG, if ONLY it had been picked up, LOL) and that Sonni and Josh and Will became a popular with the audience while she was out of commission.  If you want to read the whole thing: https://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=47394 Breen was known for being very candid in interviews, I wish I could find more of them. I seem to recall he made a couple of snarky comments about Zimmer, implying she was not above acting like a diva. Sounded to me like he had a lot of respect for Forbes (who went on to have a very strong and varied career after GL).
    • I was so confused why Devon was prying into Nicks love life and then it clicked and I remembered they’re brother-in-laws. Shows how little I pay attention to this show anymore. I was like uh? Do these two even know each other this well?
