Did he really know about it for a long time? If he did, why didn't he spill the tea? Or maybe he just lied to make it seem as if he knows more than he does. Either way, it's trash.

Agreed.  I don't know much about SourceRyan, but if you are a source why were you keeping this info?  Someone else just scooped you.  What else does he know that he's not sharing?  It's not only condescending, but it also makes me wonder what the quid pro quo is for getting these scoops.   Not specifically him, I suppose, but in general.
