With Facebook parent Meta shutting down its original programming division amid another round of layoffs at the company, which has seen over 20,000 employees depart thus far, the Facebook Watch original series “Red Table Talk” is reportedly looking for a new home.

On Wednesday, April 26, Deadline reported layoffs that impacted the Facebook Watch division, which saw Mina Lefevre exit as the Head of Development and Programming at Meta. Meanwhile, Facebook Watch will remain as a video player for future content geared toward VR experiences.

“We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disband. We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come,” read a statement on the show’s Instagram that was also shared on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Instagram page. Smith is the host and executive producer of the series. “We at ‘Red Table’ are in talks of finding a new home and we’ll see you soon,” the message concluded.

Hosted by Smith, her daughter Willow and “Gammy” (Adrienne Banfield Norris), “Red Table Talk” featured the ladies as they gave their unique perspectives on real issues affecting real people. The show highlights honest, intimate, and inspiring conversations on topics impacting each of our lives.
