Yes, she did – and still has. But she didn't even try to hide her awful Palatine dialect LOL. She should have sung in High German but the way she pronounces several words makes me cringe, especially the "s" sound.

My favorite German entry of all times is "Johnny Blue" from 1981.

I'm listening to Bernard Herrmann's brilliant score for the episode, "Walking Distance" from the Twilight Zone. If anyone is a fan of TZ or Bernard Herrmann's classic scores, I would check it out. It fits the episode perfectly with every melody filling one with the longing for their nostalgia days.
