I don't understand why they had those foolish scenes of who's the better Johnson. I remember reading that when Tripp's exit to move to Seattle aired earlier this year, it was mentioned by either the actor or Ron then that Tripp would be reappearing later in 2022, so I guess it was for this Kayla arc. The most recent SOD said that Tanner Stine (Joey) has already finished airing. It didn't say anything about Tripp. I don't know if Tripp stays or not. Maybe he stays a little while in doctor mode and then leaves later? I don't know. Also fyi, Victoria Grace (Wendy) is on contract per closing credits.
