I mean sure The Tridge Kids seemed to dislike her since they were little, And One of the most unforgivable acts Brooke ever did was keeping From Ridge he was Thomas' Father BUT by the many clips i've seem, Thomas, Steffy and Phoebe seemed to be happy with Brooke as their mother until Taylor came back and i may be mistaken but i think i even saw a clip wehn the kids rejected her after Taylor came back and She seemed deeply hurt! Does anyone remember back in 2004 when Brooke was stuck playing caring stepmother by begging 16 year old Thomas to stop sleeping with Amber while Steffy and Phoebe were surprised when Brooke helped them on their chemistry homework? It was Taylor herself that told Ridge that Thorne was the father of her unborn baby. Sure, Brooke took advantage of the situation and moved up her wedding to Ridge when Taylor started having second thoughts, but to lie about Thomas' paternity was Taylor's idea from the start, albeit with a hefty dose of encouragement from Thorne. And like you said, Brooke and the kids got on fine when Taylor was "dead". But the moment Taylor came back they immediately started to whine about having mommy and daddy back together. The fact that they were half-grown at that time, and that they had a younger brother (R.J.) who had much greater need for his parents to stay together than they did, didn't bother them at all.
