I tried to watch DAYS on Peacock, but the episode has this stupid feather on the upper-left corner telling me I need to be a premium member to watch. I could record it on my Fire Recast, but then again, I don't feel like fooling around with the digital antenna either. It's a pain in the ass. And yesterday was Thursday, August 25th. Not Monday, September 12th. Mistake or not, this makes Peacock look strapped for cash, lol! I was humilated, stripped down and body cavity searched. A lice-coated quill was inserted into my anus. From that moment on, I knew my life would never be the same.

My handwriting is so pretty. Not too bad considering I just moved the cursor around on my laptop.

The huevos rancheros looked so good for Thursday's episode. Move over, Fabergé eggs! Because hot mocha lattes with oat milk and two fake sugars have now bumped these beauties down to the #4 slot for a person with exquisite tastes, according to the Salem Spectator

I had to do a double take on these scenes:

(after Nicole's dream)

Nicole: "Well, I came by to tell you I had a dream about you this morning."

Eric: "That's weird."

Nicole: "Why?"

Eric: "Because I had a dream about you too."

**Next scene several minutes later**

Eric: "I guess you were surprised to see Jada here."

Nicole: "To say the least."

Eric: "Well, her air conditioner was busted, so I told her she could shower here."

Nicole: "It's okay, Eric. Jada told me that you two slept together."

Eric: "That's very forthcoming of her. Why did you stop by to see me again?"

(SAME  Nicole dream)

Nicole: "Well, I came by to tell you I had a dream about you this morning."

Eric: "That's weird."

Nicole: "Why?"

Eric: "Because I had a dream about you too."

___________

What was the point in that? Ah! Sloppy Joe's and singing telegrams.

LOL! I think that could be what I described above. I had to to rewind to see for it myself but yes, it was unusual to say the least. Also, it was weird that I was given the feather to view Thursday's episode. The feature was taken off the next day, but still, that's not good.

Jason47 said something similar on another board that this is what he experienced. "Peacock's episode length was 46 minutes. I just checked the NBC commercial timings and I see where the error is on Peacock. Around the 25 minute mark, they accidentally forget to add a commercial and air Act 5. Then there's a commercial and then Act 5 is aired again, followed by two airings of Act 6 in a row."

Alex was channeling his inner Truck Nuts today. But at least, they had someone remind him that No means No. Hope Titan has a good HR department though. And Sonny as the spoiler for Stephanie and Alex isn't going to work for me.

But at least, the show provided us with a reason why John and Steve didn't just call Shane and get somebody from the ISA to kill Orpheus. But then again, if they did decide to get help from the ISA, that would be a pretty good reason to bring Andrew to the main show

Same here

But unfortunately, it's been replaced with the nonsense of the show trying to make us believe that Stephanie and Alex had never met before.

Yeah the Alex/Stephanie stuff is weird.  Did Anjelica have more of a hands on role with custody or something?

Listen, I am just happy that the show righted something about Orpheus/John/Roman that's been wrong for 30 years lol.  So, I guess Orpheus just hates John and Marlena for funsies even though the really didn't do anything to him?

    • And based on the previews for today, maybe we’ll, uh, finally see something

    • Haven't seen today's ep yet but so will be interested to see the clothes. So far I think they have been very character specific (even if I don't like some of them eg Kat's cutsie style) Anita is very showy/glittery, Nicole classic elegance, Dani sexy/bold colors etc. Unlike Y&R which seems much more generic. Also BTG pays attention to the men's wardrobe and has developed a style for the boyz-which is harder to do with male fashion. The absence of any of Derek/Ashley at any of these big events again demonstrates how they are in a different universe to the rest of the show. Not that a nurse and a fireman would be there but still they seem destined at this point to stay in their own lane and have little interaction with the core of the show.
    • Agnes had written for Bernard Grant for many years on TGL as well as Ernest Graves and Joe Gallison,Doris Belack,Robert Milli, and  Antony Ponzini at AW. So she would probably gravitate to writing a role with an actor in mind or choosing someone she had written for before who she knew could deliver.
    • Once Johnny Dallas' cut himself off from Laurie Ann Karr and their son, and once Laurie successfully recovered from her mental problems, she wanted a new, fresh, and healthy start for the next chapter of her life. She legally reverted her name and changed John Victor's  surname to Karr. After moving to the country (when Teri  Keane was dropped from the show), Bill and Martha Marceau legally adopted Jennifer, the baby girl whom they had earlier taken in when the child's biological mother, Taffy Simms (and other bio family members) proved to be unfit to raise her. Jennifer legally and emotionally became a Marceau, and gave that name to her own daughter, whom Jennifer birthed through surrogacy as a single parent. Et...voila! The Karr and Marceau legacies live on.

    • BLQ is having second thoughts regarding putting her baby up for adoption. Chase is upset he can't tell Dante. So both are putting this on at lulus feet. Saying she is holding it over them. Lulu is doing none of this.
    • Yes she absolutely was involved in that story which seems to have gone nowhere.  She didn't start to remove herself from the writing until 1973.
    • Y'all are bringing back great memories of AMC 2.0 for me.  I haven't thought about it and the new characters in so long, well since it aired, and I plan to go re-watch it now. When AMC ended, I finally came to peace with it and accepted that I will never watch an hour of a TV show daily in my life again... something that I had been doing since I was 6-7 years old. I was starting a new career, relationship, and chapter in life when AMC 2.0 came out.  I found a way to watch it, but things felt differently for me at the time and when it was so short-lived and gone, it became such a distant memory, sadly.
    • That's a great point. I wish the writing could find those nuances.
    • After all Lulu's been through with her coma and missing years I can get her being on the sensitive side especially when talking to her mother.  I was thinking it was more a culmination of everything than just this one particular problem.
