They do seem to indicate the history of the nation will be directly addressed, so I'll give it a chance even if the marketing seems very reductive because I usually love Viola Davis and I've always liked Prince-Bythewood. I hope they have a big box office opening and some great awards recognition so we can get more of these type of films in the future. Viola said in their essence roundtable that this was her way of passing the baton. She's one of a kind in my eyes, I've never seen another black actor take their role in Hollywood this serious.
