I wonder if there's some Gay Men on TPTB of DOOL if there's a Soap that still has no shame in Exploiting the Male Body is Days of Our Lives, I mean seriously!

That means another Ericole Reunion is on the way? (Gosh these name combos are so weird to me)

Can't they get Eric another Woman? They sure have no trouble getting Nicole a Man

That mugger was really making the most of his bit part lol!

Ericole is a dumb squish name to me.  You are only saving yourself like 2 or 3 letters and it sounds stupid.  You are better off just spending the extra 5 seconds typing Eric/Nicole.

I thought they were testing Eric/Jada honestly.

I remember SG saying she wanted to become a writer when she left the show 30 years ago, so good for her.  I always wondered if she regretted leaving the show and I guess she did.  I wonder what would have happened to Isabella if she stuck around.

That's kind of where I see her going too.  She probably would have negated the need for Kristen and played the villian under JER.  I always found Isabella annoying, so it wouldn't bother me, but it probably would have bothered most fans.  Isabella had some decent ties to the canvas so it is interesting to think about how she would have developed if she had lived.

Eric just had a scene with Jada and I couldn't help but think, "Mmmmm...possible."

I get it. One should never judge anything based on one episode...especially an actor's performance. But RSW is trying much too hard at convincing us he's no longer playing Ben Weston. And by doing so he's only highlighting he's limited range as an actor. Now he may improve in time but so far, it's not a promising start.

My first impressions of RSW as Alex were actually fine.  The show and writing were trying too hard to make it a 'cute' intro, but I thought RSW did pretty good with what he was given.  You all know I like him well enough as an actor and I am willing to give him a try in a role that doesn't have the baggage Ben did.  I literally hate when shows re-use actors like this and it's not a twin or lookalike, but here we are, and I don't hate Alex on first impression.

Well, I guess TB got something to do as Ava today at least.   What a weird way to write off Jake.  I assume

And with that, let's hope that this is the end of the stupid tongue in cheek Ben jokes. And let's also hope that the show remembers that Adrienne was more of a mother to Alex than Angelica was.

I don't really have that much to say about RSW as Alex. He definitely needs to tone down the obnoxious douchebaggery though. Whether it was his own decision or the director's, it was way too much. Not even just for RSW, just in general.

My biggest criticism lies with Bonnie not knowing who Alex was when she first saw him. They're telling us that all these years she's been in Justin's orbit, she hasn't seen a picture of Alex? Not in the house? Not on Justin's phone or something? I mean, we all know Sonny is Justin's favorite but come on

And speaking of Sonny, anybody else notice that cut on his shoulder?

Jake's out of the blue demise. By some random day player is so weird. Not that i care about the character. But Jake and Ava could've just had leaved town. This forgettable death will just be forgotten.

It just being lazy. Ron didn't recast Abby because he was too lazy to do it. There should have been a casting call for Alex. Instead Ron had to keep his hard on and cast worthless no talent RSW in the role.

He comes off that way with his social media and I still remember when he got pissed when someone on social media forgot his name and he hit the roof and was very nasty to that person.

    • I think someone said it did exist, but I can't remember.
    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
    • I 100% agree but I think this is due to how the show is structured. It's a one family show which means there are no people in her age range that could be used as friends or contemporaries of her. The show definitely needs a second main family. I am glad someone finally said this. Especially now that the cast is gelling in their roles, he stands out like a sore thumb. No energy, no chemistry with anybody. He is just there.  I thought that was odd as well! The previous scene would've worked better as a tag for the credits.
    • That's the one and only Carrie Nye (Mrs. Dick Cavett) as Susan Piper, a deadly realtor. I don't want to spoil a lot if you ever want to see those episodes. She returns as another character in 2003. I think Grant has aged well and he always did a good job at being ripped without going too far, but he was never entirely my cup of tea either. I did think John Bolger was hot.
    • Totally agree. KKL looks great! It makes the Widge groveling so bizarre. Brooke needs to leave FC and with $B's/Liam's funding launch a rival fashion house with Hope, Rick, Katie and a secret designer. The best scenario is that Rick has been absent because he's been with very much alive C2, who is revealed on the runway as the secret designer. It'll never happen because B&B is comfortable just focusing on FC and the Forresters Marones v. Logans. But it'd been so much more interesting if the Spencers/Logans united.

    • Haha that scarf thing did go on a bit too long, very odd. And what a young Rick!  I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I just never got the physical appeal of Grant Aleksander, but he's definitely a great actor. Who is the older lady around the 8:30 mark, and also ends the episode, alone and in pain? She seems like a really interesting character. I love the smoky voice and sultry, snaky vibe she seems to have.
    • I can't remember exactly but I think she lives in or is part of the cottage story with Carrie. Carrie poisons her in this episode.  I forgot Teresa was on the show. (I see that AI is insisting she wasn't - well they're wrong) Poor Maeve. I can how even she had her limits.
