So do we think the newest Abbott grandchild will come to Genoa City? I thought the actress playing Allie was actually good.

Will Allie hook up with Noah and play out their romance at Crimson Lights?

LOL. I thought Kelsey Wang is a solid actress, but she’s walking into a show that won’t leverage her talents. Not sure if she has enough energy to enliven a glum character like Noah.

I liked Allie’s debut but unfortunately I give her only six months following a non-relationship with Noah and a single episode where she makes small talk with Imani and Elena over coffee and calls them her best friends.

Like the lesbians and the black characters Allie will hang around so Y&R can say they promote diversity.

Was Michael Mealor high when he filmed those scenes? Looked like he took one too many hits to prepare himself for the horrid dialogue Kyle had.

I have to say that Ashland's downfall right now is about the only story I care about.

Baby Dom? Hell no.

Chance? No.

Billy's podcast? No

Jack's dead son that hadn't been on for decades? No.

Noah/Tess/Mariah? No. I find the story boring.

Faith? No.

Explains why I rarely tune in.

That's what happens sometimes when you change your mind about stories in progress.  You end up making some characters (like Nate) look like complete fools.

How is Nate Ashland's doctor and didn't know until today he never had chemotherapy? What even is this show.

In today's Canadian Nate and Elena talk. They sort of explain that ....

That's all they ever do. I'm guessing they were at Society?

Are there any extras yet ?

That's Eric's take.

Maybe Mal Young just wanted to take Victor off the frontburner instead of centering the show around an 80 yr old character who had dominated the show for too long.

See, this is very sad to me. Characters sitting around delivering a lot of exposition after the fact, rather than showing actions, as they happened.

Are people satisfied with this? Couldn't be me.

The budget situation seems to be dire.

There is no money for sets and extras. How is this happening?

I believe Days and GH have extras and u/5/ dayplayers. Surely the #1 show deserves better.

The women's costuming seems to be supplied by the same manufacturer. Pretty much all the gals are in tight off the shoulder dresses and tops.

Characters like Devon,Ray, Nate,Lauren, Jack etc supposedly have careers and businesses but spend their days in restaurants or at home, if they have one.

Elena gets a few minutes a month of being Nate's talk-to.
Victoria is shown as a fool.

This show doesn't know how to write women.
