Will soaps start firing actors who aren't fully vaccinated?

Let's f**king hope. He was back on-set when filming resumed and was at the cast shoot a week or two ago. So, who knows.

GOOD! Proud of Nancy Lee Grahn for calling out her co-stars and those on-set for not doing the right thing. At the same time, I also think this is Disney-ABC dictated, as well, and her calling it out made them act swiftly.

I think it's less about ABC and more about Disney, though, from what I've heard first-hand, they don't enforce their mask mandates at their parks, so.....

He has not announced anything. Just continuing to spew his hatred of vaccination cards and mandating vaccinations for children in Los Angeles schools, which I find hilarious, since he homeschools his children. Though, Marcus Coloma and some other co-stars (like Lilly Melgar) do share their views.

That's exactly how I feel about the NY cops who are being sent home unpaid for not doing it. And since they were some of the first in line...yeah, I don't feel sorry for them either.

I think this has been such a strange hill to literally die on.  If you have a legitimate, medical reason to not get vaccinated- I get it.  I know people that are incredibly compromised and once Miss Delta came in their doctors told them the risk was higher to not get the shot due to how bad it is where we are.

There are always legit concerns about medical issues- but this is also a public health crisis.  Anyway I’m in here ranting to the like minded so…

Yes!!, The Young and the Restless, The Bold and The Beautiful, General Hospital and Days Of Our Lives Male and Female Actors Should Be Mandated To Get Tested Regularly Or If You Have Been Doubled Vaxxed and Don't Show Your Real Vaxx Card Then They Should Be Fired and Written Up In Their Folder Files and Typed In The Computers For This Severe Incident So That If They Get Another Job Somewhere In The Daytime Soap Opera Industry and Community That They Will Be Band From Ever Being On Any Daytime Soap Opera Ever Again and I Personally Will Go Further To Ban Them Permanently Banned Them From Getting Any Sitcoms and Motion Pictures Movie and Films and Banned In All Of Hollywood, Basically Blackballed Them From Every Working In Hollywood Ever Again and Should Be Called What They Are The Enemy Of The Whole United States and Yes!!, They Should Be In Jail/Prison For A Very Long Time For Showing and Giving The People In Charged Of The 4 Remaining Daytime Soap Operas A Fake Illegal Vaxx Card!!

    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.
