After 8 hours of labor over the course of last night, Melania Trump, 35, is a mother for the first time. She delivered her and Donald's son at 5 am this morning, about a week and a half early. Barron William weighed in at 8 1/2 lbs and is 21 inches long. In a phone interview about 20 minutes after the birth, Donald said, "Everyone's perfect. She's really happy and it's really great." As expected, Donald, 59, waited just outside the delivery room while Melania gave birth.

CBB reader Vanessa heard Trump on the Don Imus radio show this morning, and said he sounded very excited and tired. When asked about the Apprentice episode for tonight (his usual Imus topic) Donald replied, "Who cares!"

That's so sad that he wasn't even in the delivery room. It's just so old-fashioned IMO.

I guess I'm happy for them though. I really don't like Donald Trump though. He's such an ass.
