How often does B&B show the actors in the closing credits? I assume there must be a pattern, but I've never been able to determine it.  I was going to compare the Monday May 10 closing credits with the previous time the credits aired, to see when Jennifer Gareis was last listed in contract credits, but I didn't know what date's epi to look at.

Thank you!

There were no actors in the closing credits during the week of May 3rd.  I went back and found the actors in the closing credits on Wed April 28 and then next on Mon May 10.

Maybe the April 19th preemption threw the schedule off? So maybe the actors would have been listed Tues April 27 and Fri May 7, but the April 19 preemption moved those episode airdates to Wed Apr 28 and Mon May 10.

At any rate, Jennifer Gareis was listed with the contract actors in the April 28th closing credits, but she was missing from the May 10th closing credits.

As flawed as it is, the Quarter story is probably the most interesting thing daytime has going for it right now IMO. Funny how B&B can be god-awful and boring one week (usually tied to Liam or Wyatt) and then oddly compelling the next.

I've always had a weak spot for her but she hasn't had a real story since... 2010? I was very surprised when they brought her back on contract in 2018 and they didn't even give her anything to do.

Oh piss off, Zoe

She's the one who messed up the relationship with Carter and now she's acting all upset.

Nice to see Shauna weaved into this storyline. I think it gives her character more potential then just to have her be one of the many temporary Ridge/Brooke spoilers.

This is probably the most watchable week since Steffy’s blink-and-you-missed-it opioid addiction.

The story is dumb af, and Carter is going under the bus, but it’s watchable.

Did you all catch the line about Carter dating the model Shay from Detroit? Not sure if this was one of the episodes that Lawrence wrote, but Shay Flake from Detroit is LSV’s wife and mother of their baby. I went to college with them, lovely people, and I beamed when I heard that reference.

    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
    • French fan summary Rusty took over Simon's job at Lewis Trucking after Simon transferred to Lewis Oil's North Carolina office to live near Jessie and Calla. I doubt they would bother following up a story for offscreen characters eg marriage and a baby.
    • I suspected that the performance with the reveal was the reason why the Ted actor got the axe and it looks like I was right. He wasn't really good at conveying what needed to be conveyed in those scenes. Claybon is at least slowly improving (but I agree that he still needs to work on his line delivery), but I do wonder what will happen when his big reveal is coming up.
    • I've already asked this before, recently, but can anyone who watched those years more closely tell me if anything said about Jessie and Simon at the end of their profiles is accurate (about them marrying, naming a baby after Brandon/Lujack, etc.)?
    • Nicole is way too smart to not know she was carrying twins - she's a doctor! My guess is that Leslie did abort her baby out of fear, and as payback, stole Ted and Nicole's child (Eva), and stole Kat from another family to replace her in the hospital.
    • Those Soap Central profiles have a lot of incorrect info. According to SOD summaries and the Daytime Newsletter of the time,Tim left town for a new job and Pam reunited with the father of her baby and also departed Springfield. They did not marry.
    • Do we believe that Jabot is at the level of Estee Lauder?? I am on board with Jabot deciding to expand but the way it was handled was ridiculous. Jabot just decided and bingo, that was that. Not months of negotiations and decisions about how it would fit into the Jabot portfolio. And then no follow through. Josh thinks he's serving business stories by characters sitting around and discussing mergers, takeovers and job switching. Now we have Audra setting up her own company -Vibrator or something. Well, why not? You don't need staff, office space or even products.
    • He a dirty dog! Those are his kids and he hurt everyone. At this point he needed to just come clean. I can't believe I was lusting over this man! I hope they aren't quick to forgive.
    • The way I took it is that he did not want to confirm or deny anything until he talked to Nicole first. He was very calculated with the wording he used with Martin and Kat
