She was always fun when she appeared on Larry King Live dishing about old Hollywood. She was a good friend of Dame Joan Collins, who posted this tribute. 96 is quite a fabulous run.

Eddie Mekka, who played Carmine Ragusa on Laverne & Shirley, has died. It was posted on his FB page. I believe this leaves only Cindy Williams and Michael McKean from the original, pre-California cast.

"It is with deep regret that we share with you the passing of our beloved Eddie Mekka. Eddie passed away peacefully in his Newhall, California home on Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was 69 years old. At this time, we do ask that all media inquiries be withheld during his family's time of grief and mourning. R.I.P. to Mrs. Jacqueline Avant who was the victim of a horrific shooting.

There is a Netflix documentary on the life of music empresario Clarence Avant, her husband, which I watched a few years ago. This is so tragic.

Carmine was my favorite on Laverne and Shirley. Michael McKean had some kind words on his passing. 

The news about Jacqueline Avant was shocking. She seems like a wonderful woman.
