Shouldn't this be about Shannen? And of course you had to make Shannen's death about you. You don't like it if everything isn't about you. This is about Shannen. She fought a fight that has been admirable for years. And she never made it about her. Prayers to her family.

So sad about Shannen. She truly was admirable in how she handled her illness. She fought the tough fight for a long time, admirably. This is a hard one to process. RIP beautiful.

First - cancer survivors should never be shamed for sharing their stories. Second, I want to bring the attention to @Errol - we have a member obsessed with another member who now for close of a year has bored the whole board with constantly following that other member in topic after topic trying to ridicule and start an argument. At this point this is the most off-topic thing in here. Please take your personal vendetta OUT of a topic about a woman who DIED FROM CANCER. I know it will be hard, but try. Thanks.

So to your warped way of looking at things for a breast cancer survivor to speak about one who has just lost the battle and others still fighting and still others considered to be survivors is somehow inappropriate posting?!! I think this is your problem, not anyone else's.

What a tough, feisty lady, in the best sense of the words. She fought such a hard battle against breast cancer. I was in admiration of her courage and bravery. She will always be an absolute legend to me... and FYI I was always a Brenda fan! Lol. If you know you know.

I am definitely going to need a hug when it sinks in because it WILL be a doozy for me when it does.

I just woke up and wondered why people were tagging me, but I guess I know now.

Outside of Vanessa Marcil's Brenda...the only other Brenda (and SCARY MOVIE's Brenda okay and URBAN LEGEND Bren) I acknowledge. Shannen was my Heather. She was my Brenda. And she was fierce AF as Prue on CHARMED. And she always acted. She was always a fighter. And I watched just about everything she was in growing up. There was just something about her eyes. How she could do a smile or a smirk. No matter if her characters made you want to shake her, she always came across as an underdog that you wanted to see win. My love of her knew no bounds.

And watching her fight cancer these last few years, my heart went out for her. And yet she still kept going. And it was nice to see as she grew older, she was moving past a lot of the feuds that she was known. Older. Wiser. But still tough.

I am just rumbling and fighting tears. With Shelly Duvull, Richard Simmons, Dr. Ruth, and now THIS...it's too much.

I knew when Shannen announced within the last few weeks that things weren't looking good and was starting chemo again that the end was sadly coming sooner rather then later.

She left a great mark with two iconic roles, a memorable supporting role in an iconic cult classic (Heathers), and always spoke up for herself even if it was at great risk to her job and career.

Shelley Duvall was such a part of my childhood from watching Fairy Tale Theatre, Mother Goose Rock n Rhyme, and her attempt at adapting classic gothic novels into hour long anthology episodes (Nightmare Classic).  It wasn't until my teen and young adult years that I got see the other part of Shelley Duvall.. her 70s output was amazing (Her acting in 3 Women was flawless).

Richard Simmons.. Sweating to the oldies made exercise look fun and was an advocate for those struggling to lose weight.  An icon also gone too soon.

Dr Ruth... her advice show on Lifetime back in the day was one my late mom used to watch.

RIP :(
