Janis Paige had an interesting short stint on Capitol which would have certainly lasted longer had the show not been cancelled. She played Sam Clegg's first wife, and Trey's mother, Laureen. Laureen had been in a mental institution for years and found her way back into the Cleggs' lives under the guise of a nanny who was hired by Kelly to look after Scotty. I assume Trey didn't recognize his own mother, I'm fuzzy on the details. I would have loved to have seen the eventual reveal with Laureen, Trey, Sam, Myrna, et al.

Naturally, it was this gig that led to her being cast as Minx as John Conboy was EP.

101 sounds like one helluva life to me, I hope she was happy and comfortable in her final years.

re tony lo bianco: according to his imdb page, his first tv roles in the early 1970s were on ‘love of life; and ‘the doctors.’ 

thought i remembered him as rose d’angelo’s father. on ‘world turns;  turns out that was tony musante:)
