She played Sam Clegg's first wife, and Trey's mother, Laureen. Laureen had been in a mental institution for years and found her way back into the Cleggs' lives under the guise of a nanny who was hired by Kelly to look after Scotty. I assume Trey didn't recognize his own mother, I'm fuzzy on the details. I would have loved to have seen the eventual reveal with Laureen, Trey, Sam, Myrna, et al. Thanks to radio stations like CD 101.9 a large number of kids and youngsters became aware of her music, which is so beautiful and so was she.
