What terrible news. 66 is far too young to die and I loved her playing Lady Susan Hussy in The Crown and The Duchess of Cornwall in The Windsors.

I was touched by Natalie Haynes' tribute to her on Facebook. They had discussed working on Euripides' Hecabe [aka Hecuba] together.

Those “Shame On You” segments with the animated wagging finger were iconic! Man, R.I.P. to Mr. Diaz. In this day and age where one can live to see one’s centenary years, 74 still seems premature.

Another loss from CBS News NY. Arnold Diaz retired last year but I think he's like the 3rd death from CBS News NY this year, even though he had moved on to other networks. He did the "Shame On You" segment.

Same cancer that Christian LeBlanc has. So many untimely losses in the NYC news market this year.

RIP Richard Moll.

I know he's most famous for Night Court but he did a rather poignant performance in a Halloween episode of "Doctor Quinn" that I really enjoyed.

The most famous Night Court ensemble continues to dwindle. Just Larroquette and Warfield left of that core group.

This one (and Richard Moll!) are both shocks. Given his history I had to wonder what happened with Perry.

Dorothy Stinnette, who was on several soaps, including Somerset, The Edge of Night, and Loving, died on October 23.

Very sad to hear this. I think I may remember her best from her time playing Kate Philips, the mother from hell, on Another Life, the victim in the show's big murder mystery. It was fascinating to watch her act.

I didn't want to clog with videos, but in the AL thread I put a video that has some lengthy interview quotes with Dorothy from 2017.

Law enforcement says Matthew had a cardiac event while in his Jacuzzi and drowned.

To say this stuns me is a VAST understatement. I know the guy struggled with his demons, but this hurts.
