^ Yes. Short of a miracle we will probably all have to shut down again in a couple of months. What a nightmare. Just thinking about the loss of life and the economic damage terrifies me. I'm not talking about stocks going down, I mean people's lives being further devastated by evictions and food insecurity. Please let them find a good therapeutic ASAP.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I have to fight with customers to put on their masks right when they come into my work place. People actually wanting to argue when there is A SIGN ON THE DOOR. Or people want to get into it with my co-workers over social distancing because while my co-workers are quite loud...too loud sometimes...people think they are being yell at (no, Karen) and most people NOT LISTENING. Not helped and I have to explain to my co-workers, the mall we work at is saying that it is people's preference versus making it mandatory. Knowing where the mall is (rich area) how did they think if given a choice people would act.

Went to get food tonight and saw the downtown area (barring hotels and bars...which open Monday) had been reopened. And I saw passing restaurants AND NO MASKS. Not people sitting and eating so no need for a mask...but people in CROWDS outside with no mask acting like it was a typical Friday night here.

I am not one for having an anxiety attack, but that made me about wig all the way out.

Virus is still in the air...no vaccine has been reported on the news or them smartphones you are always on. And you are running around without a mask?!?

THANK YOU!! I work in health care (not the medical side, but as a caregiver), and I have to wear a mask for hours on end because I want to protect my "people". No, I don't enjoy wearing a mask and other PPE but I do because it's part of my job and because it's for the greater good. I could not agree with you more.

Interesting info about the challenges facing the entertainment industry in the age of COVID.

"...approaches being discussed involve facilitating separate shoots, which can then be pieced together in post, and quarantining participating talent for 14 days, with testing done regularly, before shooting the scene in full. The actors involved with the latter would have to be OK with that plan, of course. "And if they're not, you're fucked," says one executive, "because you can't force an actor to do something that they're not comfortable with." At least two more predict those kinds of conversations about comfort levels — both general and specific — will start to happen with No. 1's on every call sheet in the coming weeks, if they haven't begun already. And the responses are expected to vary, particularly among the older and more vulnerable set. Regardless of how many safety measures are put in place, there will be some who simply won't feel comfortable and, as one network head warns, some shows could go away as a result."

    • I have watched the scene where Vanessa reads the letter and it's lovely, but I'm really glad now that I never got around to watching the funeral. Henry ADORED Nola! He treated her like a daughter and Stacy like a granddaughter. That's why Vanessa couldn't stand her. He was crazy about all the Reardons. He spent a lot of time at the boarding house. He and Bea--they never explicitly said it was romantic, but they certainly were loving friends. This sounds worse than Bert's funeral. I really did not think that was possible.
    • It always bothered me from the start that Nicole just took Mona's suggestion and never checked references.  A real psychiatrist would have done more before hiring someone. I like that Kat's reporter/investigative type instincts caused her to be suspicious of Eva from the start, and to try to spy on Eva and catch her as weeks went by. However, I think that Kat's so focused on what Eva did wrong -- that she won't see that Leslie is the master manipulator, making some things appear different than they actually are. I hope that Shanice's natural snoopy nature will get her to figure out what actually happened to Laura, and who really caused all the problems.
    • And I'm here for it.   Also...YES, PLEASE.
    • Also, someone knocked over the head (usually in the D Mansion) and imprisoned in the secret tunnel room or whatever it was. I swear that must have happened at least a dozen times the last few years, and each time it drove me crazy!
    • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! And here I am rewatching and...

    • 5-9   Honestly? There's nothing going on. And yet unlike Y&R, I'm not bored. But I just think that's because of the acting going on as they play the beats in this Liam dying storyline. Well, that and the outfits.   If there's anything I'm liking it's the continued drama of Daphne going after Carter and not letting anyone get in her way. Not Brooke. Not Katie. NO ONE.    And while I love TK in those glasses, I am not here for a Brooke/Ridge/Taylee triangle.    And of course, Luna would try to use this Liam mess to get closer to Finn.   Okay week.
    • The acting during those Sarah scenes on Friday was horrific.
    • So true. Their hypocrisy is on another level. When Anita called Ted a coward because he used Bill as a fixer, I almost choked on my Ritz. And Dani calling Ted worse than Bill as a husband because Bill never pretended to be a good person? Then why stay with him for decades and continue to kiss up to him, Dani? I was glad when Bill told Anita he wouldn't be her punching bag. Not for me. I can think of 100 other actors who would have smoking hot chemistry with LB. Lindstrom does not. I see zero chemistry. None. Joey isn't sexy or scary.   -- Mona was awesome today. -- Why was Eva playing cards in the back room of the casino? -- Can they make Anita any more sanctimonious and self-righteous? -- Dani said Anita had Ted shook. LOL. Really?       No. But I see what you're trying to do. This is a SOAP OPERA. Characters HAVE to make mistakes and sin and screw up and cheat. That's the deal. I understand the concern that we have 2 leading Black men who have cheated on their wives. I do. But I also understand that this is SOAPS 101. Are we going to hear complaints every time a Black character messes up???
    • Gone are the days where at least once every week, a character would pull a gun on someone (Ron you really turned gun violence into a joke on this show)
