How about Gwendolyn Osborne-Smith and Alice Hunter as Bryan and Claudia's Oxford-educated twin daughters.  Gwen can still be WSB Chief Vick and Alice can be a doctor and Trina's mother.

Alice Hunter is 29 so she is too young to pull off being Mom to a 15/16 yo. If they were invested in Valerie that may work or a Maya recast

What Cameron really thinks...........

Alice Hunter could easily play a teen's mother. (After all these months dressing Jack in his Depends on Y&R, it wouldn't be hard to have her mothering a fifteen-year-old.)

Regardless, ValenVarni have no idea who Bryan and Claudia are, much less that they had kids.

EXACTLY. I don't care if the whole town still tells Ben he's a serial killer, they SHOULD BE. He should never be accepted just because he's hot.

Yikes! A good half of the characters/actors in those credits would be on my eliminate-immediately list.

Leslie Charleson is not longer a contract player...but Roger Howarth is?!?

EGREGIOUS!!!!

@vetsoapfan  egregious is that Franko is related to Lee Baldwin, married to Steve Hardy's granddaughter, and raising Laura Webber's grandchildren.

Poor Leslie Charleson has been off contract too long.

She wasn't even seen last month once! (And Bobbie is MIA too). Odd since their kids are besties and just went through the Ryan debacle. It's not hard to include them.

Haha, I'm guessing you don't watch GH regularly? Leslie has been off contract for over 8 years. Tragic indeed!

I'm guessing they dropped Monica and Bobbie because of the Ryan story. They have a recurring vet leading a story and with the top episode count of the year. That can't be cheap for the show so some of the recurring vets probably got benched for a little bit to balance out the shoestring budget. I know Bobbie is back for the anniversary show, Jackie tweeted about it.

Yeah, I figured it was budgetary. They've used Tristan Rogers a bit this month and last month too. Lucy, Felicia and Mac as well, so I figured that was the reason, and Jon Lindstrom racked up 14 episodes as Ryan in January and February, soooo ... lol. I get it, but :( and that's just the vets on recurring. You also have the 25-30 people like Lucas, Brad, Kristina, Molly, TJ, Stella, Sasha, etc. all ... all popping in and out too

Not to mention the Griffin money they've spent on Turkish dayplayers/dayplayer cops the last week and a half. As Depboy likes to say, it's been Dayplayerpalooza the last two weeks.

lol, that's true too!

"The Griffin money"  (he's only racked up 4 episodes each month -Jan/Feb- I missed a few episodes in March ... Chad Duell fares better but not by much)

Oh for sure, it's far from the vets fault! It's Frank thinking he can have a 50 person cast with no money and being unwilling to cut the newbies who no one cares about. The worst!

PREACH

It's so true. I appreciate the effort, sometimes, but at the same time, it's ridiculous. And you have about a dozen newbies/soap hoppers that no one wants to watch besides the actors stans .... sigh. Mess is a great word for it.

Absolutely! They have Nina, Franco and Peter in the "starring face" rotation in the opening credits (the actor who starts it off and it lingers longest on them) but not Alexis or Elizabeth. That says everything I need to know!
