Tonight's episode is why I'm going to miss this show when it's over.

I love when a show has a recurring subplot. And it grows over time...or even seasons...and then they give it a payoff. And tonight it got that. And I loved how it showed how characters have grown. I loved how it revealed Elektra's backstory. We even got flashbacks with cameos from gone characters, giving it true continuity.

That said

....Lemar and Angel are cousins!?!?!?! Did I hear that right?

And it took me half of the episode to realize that 3 person with Cubby and Lemar WAS ANGEL!!! WOW. They dressed her down good because I did not realize that. That made how Angel looks NOW that more of a transformation. She truly is a butterfly.

AND...CANDY'S BACK!!!! It was clear throughout the episode how much the writers missed writing for her. They even brought back her hammer. LOVE.

Now...Elektra's backstory. It was so well done.It explained so much of who Elektra is. And you could see how Ms. Jackson has grown into her role over 3 seasons because you were with her the whole entire time. And Ms. UNDOING lawyer as her mother...was GOLD. I wanted to see more of her in fact. Was that the end of the story? Time will tell.

And it was awesome to see the House of Abundance walk together for the first (and last) time!!! Category: Once Upon a Time was EVERYTHING!!! The dress. The direction. The camera angles. The nuances. It was funny to see how more edgier Angel was started out and still had a spark. Lemar and Cubby together again!!! Candy getting a moment as Sleeping Beauty and the crowd with her and still her and Pray Tell shading each other. And Ooooo...Blanca...she's been serving nothing but looks so far and her Snow White was great. Oh my God, her walk, her vibe, she reminded me of a close raver friend of mine who has worn similar. And Elektra...QUEEN.

My only worry...where is Lulu in current time. She left a voicemail at the beginning of the episode. And I suspect Elektra would have looked for her except for the police arrival.

@Elsa I agree. I loved this episode, but I cannot say that it did not stand out more because everyone was back to how it used to be with Pray Tell a hilarious background character, allowing everyone else to shine. It made it more noticeable how in front Pray Tell has become over a season and a half.

And speaking of last week...in case anyone had not seen it (and while it's still up) That first House of Abundance walk. Great song choice btw...

@Elsa @Taoboi As much as i like Prey Tell. His eating a lot of airtime. This Sunday's episode spotlights him yet again. I do wish this season was longer than 7 episodes. I hope Damon gets a spotlight episode. Before Pose ends it's run. Just want to see everyone shine. Here's my favorite House of Abundance scenes.

I liked Pray Tell in his original function on the show. Now this is too much. It has been too much for quite some time. All the crying and the yelling and all the stories and the young, sexy lover. They even gave him an addiction storyline. Next week's trailer of only scenes of BP acting like a martyr, crying and yelling, yelling and crying. I am not interested in that and this is not what the show is supposed to be about.

Same @victoria foxton. I didn't even notice until last week how much airtime Pray Tell has now until the flashback. Not that I have not liked his storylines (and they do keep us talking), but perhaps small doses are best going into this last season so that yes, everyone has a moment. Especially since this is the last time we will see them. Again, I too hate it is only 7 episodes. I worry it will be rushed.

I am worried about Damon as well. As our entry/pov character along with Blanca, he has been there since Day 1 and definitely deserve an ending that fits with his character as well. I know why he was written out and understand, but I do not like how the writers/producers are being coy about whether he will appear before series' end.

@Elsa well I wouldn't mind some backstory on him, but yeah definitely don't want to be a lot of yelling, screaming, and Emmy baiting.

227, AMEN, and FRESH PRINCE OF BELAIR all in one room...PERFECTION.

I liked tonight's. Not as good as last week, but good.

I liked it. I did not feel like it was rushed at all surprisingly and that ending was bittersweet, but that is usually how it goes in real life sadly...

Favorite scene was Pray Tell and Mama Thelma talking about their Gods. That made my eyes tear up. It made me think of my own mother and how much I miss her.

And then next week...OOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo childe!!!!

Yeah, HIV can be such a devastating diagnosis, even with not necessarily being a death sentence anymore. Seeing people like Billy and Jonathan Van Ness and Danny Roberts (Real World: New Orleans) coming out as HIV+ can be very helpful to so many. Examples that life goes on…

    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!
