Just thinking of how incredible it was to have Aretha Franklin singing your show's theme song!  I took this for granted back then but thinking about it now, it was a big deal!

The director of the funeral home handling arrangements for Aretha Franklin says that she paid for many people who could not afford to pay funeral expenses.

 

Many of the stories that I've been reading have cited her as a genuine member of a community.  It kind of reminds me of Prince and how he did many low-key and anonymous acts of charity.

Bounce tv will show Aretha's funeral:

 

 

Bounce TV also televised Whitney Houston's funeral from what I remember.  I didn't see them on Rolling Stones' listing but somehow I knew they would do it. 

It's especially thoughtful since Bounce TV can be accessed by antenna.

Forgive me, y'all, but I am not here for "Ariana Grande Does Aretha."

How can it be streamed if someone doesn't have Bounce?
