Y&R: August Spoilers

  • Member

Here are some spoilers for August, including the week of August 6, (from SOD):

Sharon is going to stand her ground with Nikki. Neil is going to try and keep the peace, Phyllis is going to get her buttons pushed by Summer, Lily is going to surprise her family. Cane is going to protect Lily. Also, Neil Is going to take control, Nikki is going to be surprised by Victor, and Mariah is going to get unexpected news. Tempers are going  to flare between Billy and Jack , Nick is going to try and resist temptation and Devon is going to issue an ultimatum.

I wonder what type of ultimatum Devon will issue. I wonder if it will be to Lily or maybe even the family in general. Someone who does day ahead recaps on Twitter, said that there is a clip from next week's scenes where Lily is going to ask Devon if he think she caused the accident on purpose.  He is going to have an accusatory tone with her when she asks this question.

Also, here are a couple of spoiler pics from Hilary's memorial:

Seriously? How stupid is that plot point. Are they going to have some accelerated trial - like next week? Good grief. If they are accelerating justice - my question is why? This could be a really good umbrella type story - Hilary's friends (Jack, Phyllis, even Mariah) + Devon grieving and wanting someone to blame, the Assbys + Jill dealing with the consequences, etc. Throw in Neil, who committed several serious crimes against Hilary, trying to reconcile his issues with Hilary and keeping his family from splitting apart.

When was the last time Neil even acknowledged what he did to Hilary?

Not since it happened. Writers pretend he never harmed her.

Here are some spoilers from soaps.com day ahead recap for Monday's episode.

Lily is going to talk with her family about pleading guilty. Charlie will tell Mattie that he has a plan to save Lily. Cane will tell Lily about the plane tickets.

Spoilers from SOD say that Lily will continue to try and make amends with Devon.

I wonder what type of plan that Charlie will have to try and save Lily. I also wonder if Lily will go along with Cane's plan. I think she may not want to go along with it (at least at first).

I am interested in seeing what happens in this storyline. I saw a comment that Bryton made somewhere that there are several different directions that this storyline could go.

Because, she OBVIOUSLY doesn't when to quit, or leave well enough alone.

She's so desperate to make her brother love her again, she isn't realizing that the more she presses the issue, the more resentful he's going to be toward her.  You want him to forgive you, Lily?  Give him space!

(Of course, if she did that, there'd be no damn story, so never mind.)

Likely, just another storytelling device used to make the audience side with Lily and loathe Devon for having the perceived "temerity" for not accepting Lily's apologies for causing the accident that killed his wife and kid.

Just a wild guess, seeing as though I haven't watched Y&R in quite some time now.

Wildly accurate, you mean. Devon's the villain to Lane's family.

Only in Daytime can a white man who NEVER stops lying be treated as a sympathetic HERO at the expense of a grieving Black widower.

Here is the new promo for next week.

https://mobile.twitter.com/YRInsider/status/1028365001763876864/video/1

Summer looks really bad trying to blackmail her parents because she wants to sleep with her mother's boyfriend. I wouldn't be surprised if she eventually leaves town with her tail between her legs. I think that hardly anyone will be able to stand her if she keeps acting this way and succeeds in seducing Billy.

I also.wonder.if Lily is really going to go on the run. I wouldn't be surprised if she stayed in town and faced the music.

And I like Neil/Ashley, too bad ED is leaving. I still wonder how Ashley will exit the show.

Given how Mal Young dispatched both J.T. and Hillary, I wouldn't be surprised if Ashley were to meet a similarly grisly fate.  (Whoever said it first was right: folks can't just leave town anymore.)

Dina's forgets who Ashley is and mistakes Ashley for a burglar, grabs a gun and shoots Ashley dead.

Would not surprise me at all if Mal went fast and loose with that cliche.

LOL, love the promo

I don't think Summer is going anywhere, she just got added to the openings and a bumper with Phick, she makes a confession the week after, I presume to her Grandpa lol

Yep.  I could TOTALLY see something like that happening.

Or he'll have Ashley go "rogue" with some awful coup attempt at Jabot, which will flop spectacularly, sending her out of town in disgrace and infamy.

Well, I tried something but it didn't work. Nope, nevermind.

Yeah, I could see that happening also.

Either way, he's not gonna let Ashley leave quietly, or with dignity.

Here are some spoilers posted from soaps.com day ahead recap and daytime royalty (from the zapit2soaps.column.

Tomorrow Victoria and Nate are going to interact. He is going to sense she has emotional baggage and is going to tell her to let things out. She is going to tell him to mind his business. Later on she is going to be upset that he's Nikki's private doctor and express she doesn't trust Nate.

It looks they might be trying to start something with Nate/Victoria. I had suggested/wondered earlier if they might do something with these two.
