It's sad that with daytime today, it's either a choice between slow, stagnant writing (SSM) or rushed plot driven drivel (Mal).

I never said it was an insult, I said it limits her. I just don't understand why she has to be with him and only him.

Of course you said it was an insult to her. Read your post below. And she hadn't even been with just him anyway.

Brittany is so poised, calm and well-spoken. She doesn't give a flying fig about Victor or his staredowns.

Between this custody thing and Jack reading through Dina's journals, today was a snooze fest.  There's absolutely no reason to watch this drivel.  This is a pretty good preview of the crap we'll have left to watch

Spoiler

once Hilary dies

It's crazy how JT's death and the cover-up is barely mentioned these days unless it's being used to blackmail someone.  How could Nikki believe that Sharon would actually follow through on her threat?  I would have laughed in Sharon's face.  This story went to backburner in record time, but with a certain someone coming back soon, I suppose it will spin up again.

Pacing sucks.  The stories suck.

I would start beating the old drums for Mal Young to leave, except -- my God -- who would CBS/Sony hire to replace him?  Bob Guza?  Dena Higley?  The mind boggles.

I hear you!  I DVR yesterday episode but I just deleted it without watching it.

For real, though.  It's scary to think what direction they would go.  The only one that comes to mind that is worthy of a shot is Jill Lorie Hurst, but I don't think she's doing daytime anymore.

Was anyone else bothered by the obviously empty pages of the journal?! I was too distracted to even pay attention to what was happening! Same with Sharon saying she and Nick were together for 20 years. Umm, no! Noah was born over 20 years ago!

Have they had any scenes of Victoria’s therapist calling her after a missed appointment or anything, or did she just end treatment? The way they used that story was so cynically done. No follow-up, no momentum.

Exactly.  The story has disappeared and gone dormant while we wait for Mac to come back.  Sloppy ass writing.

It wouldn’t have taken but a moment to have that scene. A phone call. Didn’t even need to book the actress playing the therapist.

Mal is holding onto this JT reveal for when he needs it for next sweeps. It'll start and end in 4 weeks.
