No shock there. We knew the Spectras weren't going to last. They burned through everything in first four months - arrival to being in front of judge and the whole DumbAs relationship. That was at least a year of material. 

What a flop this whole thing was...and the sad thing is that Bradley won’t learn his lesson and do something like this again someday (revive a past family with a bunch of newbies)

One Highlight more Patrika on Days. Nancy Wesley is the type of role Ron likes writing

I'm assuming she leaves with gay Thomas to live happily ever after.....

 

 

No shocker. Three women was just too much for Liam to juggle. 

 

Seriously though, agreed on the quick burnout. There was potential to keep her around as a long-term character, but with the instapairing of her and Thomas that came crashing after the actor's exit, plus burning down the beloved Spectra set itself... writing (or lack thereof) was on the wall (which burnt to the ground, oh the puns and metaphors are endless!) 

The sad thing is Courtney Hope turned out to be good actually pulled it off the whole duration.  The fact he couldn't even write a decent continuing story for her and her character yet dredges up old same old crap for other overexposed characters on canvas is really telling that Bradley should step away from the HW position.

I fully expect to see a tweet from Ingo, or an announcement that he has been let go.  Not an ounce of thought put into this unnecessary recast or what to do with Thorn.  Fighting for Brooke's expired cooch was appealing to NO ONE!

Really sorry for Courtney Hope and bummed to miss heron  my screen. At least, Sally is getting a proper exit it seems - which is more than a lot of other characters. Yet, it is a really stupid choice 'cause Jan and Feb were utterly hopeless with that useless Hope character - it seems there is way more to come.

I'm only sad that such a talented actress loses a steady source of income but I'm super happy she's off of this trash heap and can move onto better things!

With the ratings tanking, I suspect we’re going to see some other big cuts as others have said.

Y&R tends to cast actors who either suck or annoy you or both. In that case she won't make the cut.

Hopefully that will be a good thing! If HWTGAM on ABC gets renewed looks like the actor who plays Zende will be able broaden his horizons far beyond anything B&B or any daytime soap could offer.

Ingo Rademacher has been D.O.A. since Day One. There was nothing he added he to the mix, and then Bradley even FORGOT about Thorne for the entire month of January. Rademacher seems like a capable actor and would have fared far much better as a new character; Winsor Harmon could have easily done all of the work that Rademacher has done since November even with the scenes with Katie. 

 

I wonder if Brad Bell ate a brain tumor for breakfast the day decided to bring back Thorne and and recast him at the same time.
