Dear God, when TOM ARNOLD comes out looking like the sane one, you KNOW you'll never love again.

I don't worry so much about the rest of the cast so much as I worry about the BTS crew who aren't in the public eye and are now out of work.  I just hope there's time enough for them to land new jobs so they can keep supporting themselves and their loved ones.

Oh, it would be funny af to see Sandy Duncan replace Roseanne (maybe as Dan's heretofore unknown sister or aunt).

Damn.  Now I'm gonna have to watch "Star Wars" again for the first time.  (I LOVE YOU LUKE SKY--, ER, MARK HAMILL!!)

I just chose to stay away, because of the godawful final season of the original series, and the fact that Roseanne's constant need to [!@#$%^&*]-stir for the press with all her personal dramas had plain worn me out.

Same here. Very well said.

As far as the reruns being pulled, it reminds me of not only the Cosby situation but 7th Heaven reruns being pulled when Stephen Collins', ahem, secret was revealed to the world. Other people worked on those shows and have led law-abiding, controversy-free lives, so why should they be punished? It's one of those big philosophical questions today in show biz.

Dammit, could we just GIVE Shonda her own daytime talk show?  I would so be there, every damn day, ready to receive whatever truths she would be willing to impart upon her viewers.

I hated to be that petty, but it's as if some live in a dimension where things like DVD's and YouTube don't exist.

Meanwhile, anyone else note the irony in this occurring to the star of ANOTHER Carsey-Werner-produced series?  I'm putting Brett Butler, John Lithgow and Topher Grace on my all news alerts as we speak.

    • And sadly I think that’s the trivia Both Jeanne Cooper and Eric Braeden went with for years and years. Lol
    • But people were hating so bad on amc and the final year and the ratings sucked. Business wise they made the right call. Oltl who even gained some ratings back and weren’t they higher as GH at one point is a decision and never understood.
    • Ann Williams was the first Maggie Powers on The Doctors but left to have a baby. Maggie was successfully recast so Ann picked up the role of Eunice (Jo's sister on Search for Tomorrow) and played that role for 10 years before being killed of in 1976. That led to her role of Margo on EON.
    • Looking at those totals it seems most contract actors are on a 1 or 2 week average guarantee. I assume contracts are still operating on 13 week cycles so you would have to know the particular actors contract starting date to work out their guarantee. The question remains as to what actors listed as contract are actually recurring? Bryton ?
    • Yep, that scene was at the conclusion of the Derek Thurston vs George Packard storyline, when Kay decided neither of them should run Chancellor.  By the time she put Victor in charge, Victor had been on the show for months & months with his Rolls Royce, his ranch, and Newman Enterprises.  SONY released some Y&R "trivia cards" in the late 1980s, and one of the questions was "who brought Victor Newman to Genoa City?" The answer on the back of the card is "Kay Thurston, to run Chancellor Industries", and it's a wrong answer lol.
    • I think someone said it did exist, but I can't remember.
    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
