who, exactly? I'm gonna be honest; I'll take a terrible actor that looks like Nathan Owens over a good actor that looks like Blake Berris (and he's not even that good, lbr), any day. Because there's potential for them to get better in time, meanwhile Blake's always gonna have that face.

He is a good actor.

 

James Lastovic is terrible. Nathan Owens is terrible. Robert Scott Wilson wasn't as good as some thought he was. Billy Miller is terrible. Eric Martsolf is worse than Blake Berris. Shawn Christian.

 

I could go on. It's a matter of preference but because he's not that good looking to you doesn't make him a bad actor, but to each their own.

GH has been a fanbase-created cesspool for years. The shame is that the poobahs seem to encourage the behavior; they must think it brings ratings. The worst things we complain about here are the things the fans have demanded and dictated. It's a sick situation and I don't know that it can be remedied or changed when it's so deeply entrenched.

Nathan Owens played Dr. Cameron Davis. He wasn't the best, but he was nice to look at and didn't give off a douchey vibe.

LMAO, OK now I know you are either trolling or your memory of Blake's performance... And I know BM & SC are hated on here, but they are pretty decent for soap actors. BM in particular is amazing, depending on the role/material. And EM's grown by leaps and bounds since his Passions days (can't say the same about Galen Gering, tho. *gag*) Let's get it together here. 

I had to google who Nathan Owens was.....LOL....still didn't ring a bell.  Blake like BM had his moments....Blake when he went crazy and BM his final scenes with Adam the rest was rather forgettable.  Again RSW was good at being wacko....and Eric Martsolf has been an average to below average actor depending on material. His looks IMO have also gone to hell. I dont find James Lastovic acting that bad. I have seen much worse on Days.

Sorry-not sorry- but BM became a bloated windbag on Y&R. HIs Jason has been one foot in, one foot out from the beginning. His one good role was Richie on AMC, and after a short time, he was annoying there too. 

 

I liked Nathan Owens, but he was better on Devious Maids on a bad day than most of his time on DOOL---the stripper days

w/Grandma Caroline slapping singles in his belt...yikes.

 

Shawn Christian IS a good actor, but his role on Days literally ATE the show, ad a lot of people had had their fill of it--a year later the writers still haven't let his dead character rest...

 

Lastovic and his 80's Falcon Video ass can't act. He tries, but seriously--he was born for porn..."Jade, you're a pretty girl (moony eyes)

Berris is attractive in his own way, but he could act circles around NO and Lastovic.

literally ANYONE can play 'crazy' tho. Bad actors become good and good actors become great & memorable - like Julia on ATWT. No one will remember Blake's 'crazy Nick' days because the performance was forgettable, and it's like hew? Peeps still remember Chelsea and Jason from AMC because the actors did such a tremendous job in those performances. 

 

and yeah, BM's a bloated mess that seems to be going through the motions... but that is quite literally the entire GH cast, and soap actors in general at this point. The medium is dying as a whole. 

 

and I chalk JL's performance up to him being a decent looking vine/instagram kid that was given a shot. The truth of the matter is 'good' young actor/actresses are not checking for daytime soaps. So you either get wonky-looking peeps like Blake who are passable in the acting department or peeps like Spencer Neville... 

Well I guess I am in the minority b/c I find Blake Berris to be very attractive, but I've always liked an odd beauty every now & then. 

I guess I'm in the minority too lol I find Blake Berris both talented and incredibly talented. 

I thought BB was unattractive at first, but now I find him very sexy in a "real" way. And he got ass.

i have never had to twist myself up into a pretzel to find someone attractive, but this phenomena is def. interesting to witness!

it is funny to me how Chandler Massey got so much flack for his 'bad acting' (I thought he was really  good, natural and chill... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) meanwhile peeps up in here acting like Berris was in a league of his own... how can you watch this scene and NOT laugh? Mess.
