Seriously I won't say Bannon is not a smart guy, but he sounds like a Leninist the more I hear from him. And I don't mean that in a good way.

These people are seriously twisted and care more about their own interests and creating chaos than anything.

Frankly, I wonder what they hope to achieve.

Is the protesters' goal to force the electoral college to put aside last Tuesday's results and vote for Hillary (which isn't likely to happen)?

Do they want Trump to become so fed up that he quits (which isn't likely to happen either)?

WHERE are they going with this?  Are they prepared for the possibility of their protests being in vain?

Because, to protest indefinitely, with no discernable goal other than to decry a collective error in judgment on the part of those who have voted a vile human being into political office...?  I don't know how long they can sustain that.

On two separate occasions now since the election of The Donald, my husband of Puerto Rican descent has been the target of hatred.  In one instance, we were in a Walmart and he got distracted and left our buggy in the middle of the aisle.  This atrocity prompted a girl and her boyfriend to call him a "[!@#$%^&*] beaner".  Then about a week later, he was talking with a cashier at the Circle K.  The guy in line behind him starting saying over and over, "andale! andale!" to him loudly.  He told the guy he wasn't Mexican, but it continued.

In both instances, neither the clerk or customers at the Circle K or other customers at Walmart ignored it, said nothing, did nothing.

I am personally strongly anti-gun for me and my home.  And I was brought up in the North Florida sticks.  We had guns growing up.  A lot of them.  But I never wanted to have one in my home - that might need to change now.  It's really scary.  I suppose in these people's minds, we're gay and one of us is Latino.  Prime targets.

I suspect we would have had a few withdrawals next year if Israel had won. I don't think many people would relish going to Jerusalem as things stand now. Not to mention it would have been a prime target for terrorist attacks.
    • And they've given us plenty. Sets, outdoor scenes, music licensing, etc. And that was the point of me using DAYS... so. It's obvious the casino set is not intended for long-term use, hence why it's likely it wasn't as evolved as the other community sets, etc.

    • I just had thought of how to save the Perkins family. (Inspired by Rituals) -- What if Marisa Perkins was Augusta Lockridge's sister? Fictionally, they could've both been local girls, one married rich and one married poor. Originally, I was going to suggest that Marisa be Sophia's sister, but then I realized Joe and Kelly would've been first cousins.  Of course, it would've truly inspired Sophia was if Rosa Andrade sister, with Rosa and Santana moving in to help CC raise the kids once Sophia disappeared.  While this could've avoided both gross CC and Santana affairs, the times were not right for a story about intersectional inequity.
    • https://www.instagram.com/p/DJxW5DLJLId/ Another World is my forever favorite soap opera. But it's finale is almost universally hated by its fans. What this is, is an edit where I've deleted everything I didn't like!!!
    • The Perkins family had potential to be a nice alternative to the more dysfunctional Capwells and wackier Lockridges... but I think a few factors did in the family. 1) Recasting of Joe Perkins 2) Bad casting of the Perkins Patriarch, and the one note writing for that character. 3) Lack of antagonistic interaction between the Capwells/Lockridges and Perkins.  (There was no awkwardness between Jade/Ted.. or CC disapproving of his son being friends with that Perkins girl, etc). 4) Wasting of Jade thus wasting the potential of the actress (which was realized on Days of Our Lives).  She had more potential than Laken oddly enough. The only member of the Perkins family that had appeal and a somewhat thought out story arc was Amy.
    • @GymnastGuyThanks for posting the three new Capitol 1985 episodes today. The two labeled March 12, and 13 are misidentified. The March 12 labeled one actually aired November 12 1985 which I figured out because Kenny Rogers' movie Wild Horses aired November 12th and it was announced over the "March 12" Cap credits. In addition, Craig Carlson is listed in the April credits but not the March. Craig left Capitol sometime after July 1985 before he rejoined OLTL in the credits by October 15, 1985; he was replaced on Cap by Radcliffe and Hamner. In these posted episodes Radcliffe/Hamner names appear in the March 85 episodes but not in the April.
