Members Gray Bunny
With people talking about Jason Thompson's shabby, shaggy 'do for his new role that makes him look older/dirty/etc., what other guys (or gals?) can routinely go from chic to shabby with a quick snip of the scissors, razor blades, etc.? The first two that come to mind for me are: Please register in order to view this content versus Joshua Morrow versus Ricky Paull Goldin
Members YRBB
Yes, Joshua Morrow changes drastically when he does that ridiculous long-haired, unshaven look. Yuck. Much like his onscreen daddy. For me there has always been a huge difference between this disgusting cow lick thing he's been doing for years and this

Members Bright Eyes
Bryan Dattilo springs to mind for me. I always dislike his look when he grows his hair out too long. It ages him.

Members YRBB
There are just not a lot of men who can pull off hair past a certain length... pair that with daytime's horrible styling and lighting, and it's a disaster! OOOOOOOooooooh I hate you for bringing this up again!
Members Cheap21
I love when people refer to that as her whore hair LOL
Members YRBB
Me too! It was everything--her lioness whore hair. It was its own character LMAO. She should have kept it forever-- she could, and did, style it a million different ways. It would have never grown old.
Members SFK
A generalization, sure, but it's interesting how long hair seems to age men while short hair seems to age women. Years of watching OLTL and AMC in particular, I noticed how the longer hair pulled down young men's faces while the shorter cuts looked fresh/squeaky/youthful. DF, JPL, JY come to mind... I loved RS's bountiful auburn weave of the early '90s. She and SL both went shorter that decade, and while they were still beautiful, I think "bigger" hair always looked better on them, like JW mentioned above. Jane Elliott, Linda Dano, and Louise Sorel sure rocked the hell out of Sassoon cuts. Gillian Spencer, Jennifer Bassey too...
Members YRfan23
ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!!!! Wish I could screencap some 1989-1995 Jill Hair just to keep adding on, LOL (though sometimes her hair looked a mess I hate to say...)
Members Gray Bunny
With some ladies, a shorter 'do helps maintain a more youthful appearance, I think. In Susan Lucci's case, I think she made a good decision in the mid/late 90's to cut her hair for awhile, because it was starting to look thinner. I wonder how Marj Dusay would've looked had she grown her hair back out in the early 00's.
Members Sindacco
I think his longer hair looks good as long as he keeps it short in the back.
Members Sindacco
I think this is the hair style I like the least on the men. It's so generic. Please register in order to view this content
Members Gray Bunny
Bryan Dattilo has such a beautiful head of hair when it's grown out. And you're right: as long as it's not long in the back, it still looks good on him. Short looks good for him, too.
Members Taoboi
From my childhood, YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That hair was its own hair. Loved the intros when she got to toss it about.
