In fact I only found out when a friend called me in the middle of the night to tell me someone wouldn't be coming back. But David Bowie can't ever really die. Bing Crosby did this because one of his children was a fan (I think), and David Bowie's mother was a Bing fan. It had an unintended poignancy because Bing died before it aired.
