debut? This is a new girl? I assumed it was the same intern chick thats been around Zende and Nicole.

I dont get why Ridge is acting like this is the end of the world and Caroline cant be a mother anymore. There is adoption and artificial insemination. Its not like Caroline would be opposed to either option considering she likely came into this world via a fertility clinic and she is adopted.

Yeah, we are still waiting for that Bi-Sexual character to come on, so perhaps Thomas will do some experimenting.....

If not Thomas, I've been thinking lately that maybe it will turn out that R.J is the gay Forrester if they ever bring him back as a teen/early 20's etc....

I guess they could still say Thomas is Bi-Sexual, but as compelling as it would be to some to see 2 brothers now fight over the same man (meaning Thomas and R.J) I rather see a solid gay relationship on a soap....at least 75% of the time...

Is this the first time Thomas has spoken about Ridge deserting him when he was younger? Thomas had great points and Ridge never really got what Thomas was telling him. Ridge went on how he gave him material things but I kept waiting for Thomas to tell him he never really was there for him ….I kept thinking about the Good Times episode where Penny's mother comes back wealthy and gives Penny lots of material and Penny's mother tells Willona….you can't give her these things…what could you possible give her…and Willona responds…LOVE….I was waiting for Thomas to tell Ridge the same thing.

    • I'm all for it. Get them Nina!
    • I am blown away that Christie Clark is 51, and she debuted 39 years ago. They gave her a lovely script today.  But, I could not think of any other examples in culture of someone able to jump right back into the skin of a character, after virtually retiring from acting years ago. I was trying to recall if Carrie left for a bit with Anna after Roman died (because she wasn't at Bo & Hope's wedding), and then returned as a pre-teen Christie?  Or if she was just SORASed off-screen?  But, whenever I see the character I am reminded how much more trauma she's endured than Sami, and yet she remains such a nice person.
    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
    • Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.
    • You could always tell whenever Douglas Marland enjoyed writing for a particular actor, because he'd pull out all the stops for them; and Julianne Moore was no exception.
    • I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.
