Members Khan
As much as I'd hate to see DAYS kill off a Horton, if it means no more Guy Wilson on our screens, then I will just have to adjust.
Members wingwalker
I have little doubt Guy Wilson is done, but as much as I dislike Will, I don't want him killed off. A great recast and story can fix Will.
Members Gray Bunny
I don't think Will should be killed off. A recast could easily save the role.

Members rlj
In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest there is a preview of the the upcoming murder mystery. In the article it says no soap does a murder mystery like Days does because it has a history of it from the Salem Slasher to more recently the Salem Stalker and next week another whodunit will be kicking off but it will lead to the departures of a handful of actors. The show's executive producer Ken Corday says that to coincide with Days upcoming 50th anniversary celebration in November that there would be a serial killer lurking in town months beforehand and that this story was discussed like a year ago.He points out that this is something the show has done in the past with success and it's going to be filled with surprises and twists and turn but Corday previews that this won't be the typical serial murder that Days does. However some actors including True O'Brien(Paige), Melissa Archer(Serena), Paul Telfer(Xander), James Read(Clyde) and Daniel Cosgrove(Aiden) whose departures have already been leaked are on the list of their characters been potential victims but a show insider says that at least one of the victims is a name the show has kept under wraps and his or her death will share to the core one of Salem's first families. Also the show is so protective that the story doesn't get leaked that they closed the set for the last several months to visitors and that includes family members of the cast.A set source shares that the actors on the show are under strict instructions not to slip up and not to leak anything on social media and that even includes actors who finished taping as far back as 5 months ago. Corday remarks that the viewers shouldn't expect this story to wrap up quickly because he previews that this a long-term tale that will go well into 2016 and the audience will find out who the killer is before the citizens of Salem do.He also teases that just when you think it's safe to go back into the water it may not be. Members Gray Bunny
Corday's promise of dead being dead starting in September is a way of saying it won't be like 2004's resurrections. Since Reilly isn't writing, is it safe to assume Marlena will NOT be the culprit?
Members Khan
That last statement of Corday's has me wishing Chevy Chase's "Jaws" character from "Saturday Night Live" were the culprit.
Members Sindacco
Guy Wilson and Robert Scott Wilson are also out. Also looks like Shawn Christian and Peter Reckell are out, so PR probably only wanted to come back short-term.

Members rlj
I can see KDP being out already I don't see Will being killed off, recast yes. My spec is Lucas. Is the one killed off from a core. family, and Ben will be. The serial killer!
Members slick jones
I second Ben as serial killer. I agree about Will being recast. I hope KDP isn't gone, and they involve her with Eric...She and GV have had some good scenes in the past...
Administrator Toups Posted August 14, 2015 Administrator Share Posted August 14, 2015 I want the serial killer to be a long term character. If it's a newbie like Ben, it won't be that big. Since Peter Reckell is leaving (or might be), I hope Bo isn't killed off (because I want DAYS' final episode to be Bo/Hope's wedding).
Members edgeofnik
So when a 'core' actor doesn't go into the DAYS studio for 3-4 months, you think that actor's friends/family might be suspicious? Not sure how closing the set for that much time works. It doesn't really matter, except for Marlena, Sami and Hope, is there really anyone on DAYS who couldn't be killed off? Even Jennifer and Nicole could be axed and it would stink, but the show has hit the stage where this is the last attempt to "SAVE DAYS."
Members Gray Bunny
The whole cast and crew could take a 4 month break and they'd still be 2 months ahead of air dates. They really should, actually. I agree about the serial killer being an important cast member. Any person brought on in the past 4 years would be a ho-hum who-cares. If only Tanya Boyd were available, we could have our resident soothsayer, Celeste, back to warn us of impending doom.
