DC (and other sites) are claiming that Michael Easton (Silas) is officially done. Some are saying he's killed off in the next few weeks.

This apparently was set into motion before Ron Carlivati was fired, so one wonders when Frank Valentini finally decided to throw in the towel after re-signing Easton against all odds earlier this year.

But he's so precious when he makes stinkfaces in the background!

Good riddance. I'm sure he's a nice guy but he's been lucky to have a job this long when he gave up around 2005.

The best thing about his GH run was the Agnes Gooch glasses and bun he wore as Silas for a week.

He was shockingly entertaining as McBain when he first landed at GH. Especially when sharing scenes with Anna. Silas never worked, and he was awful during most of his time on OLTL. All my opinion of course, and I won't miss him onscreen.

I liked Easton as McPain on OLTL, but he never really gelled on GH...His story as Silas has been irritating on a good day(background faces, banter here and there), contrived and useless on others...I hope he gets work elsewhere, just not on soaps...he should call Crystal Chappell, She's been beating a dead (soap opera) career for eons, he could do one of hercrap shows

I agree. I did sort of like him as McBain on GH, but yeah Silas was pointless from the beginning. Won't be missed.
