That's for sure. I just couldn't believe all the fawning over him back in the Betsy days. And didn't he always wear one of those brown leather wrist bands? I was kind of hilarious because he was so skinny and definitely not a hunk in any respect. He certainly has aged incredibly well.

Yep. He believed Steve and Betsy were a very "limited" couple but he didn't want to betray the fans who had invested emotionally in their relationship. Ergo, he played on Steve's jealousy and thick-headed desire to provide and care for his family, thus giving him a reason to be separated from Betsy and Dani that was close to his character.

Well, Meg Ryan was gone and while I wasn't watching then I don't recall hearing people speak fondly of the recast.

Lindsey Frost was awesome as Betsy! She reminded me of when Heather Rattray was recast as Lily. It took me a while to adjust to both but at the end I thought they owned the role.

I thought it was funny that Meg was 19/20 and Frank looked 35/40.....LOL
