A lot of the Coronation Street exits of characters I love and wish I was alive for during their peak years.

Hilda's exit has got to be the classiest exit for a longtime and beloved character:

Elsie's exit:

Bet's exit from 1995:

The #1 for me is that extremely, extremely brief clip of Kim and Jennifer on ATWT in 1975, right before the closing title card. SO short, but so valuable. The lighting is real bright, the set is loud as hell, Kim's hair is ten-feet tall, and Jennifer's outfit is ridiculous. I yearn for more of this.

Yes, I forgot the music! That chord as Jennifer turns around is just everything.

Oh, I didn't realize that was Kim until you pointed it out. Her hair looks SOO different.

Kim Tate's exit. The best soap opera character of all time. Or in a language more attributable to those here: The BEYONCÉ of soap opera.

I just can't get enough of the scene in this clip with Blake and Alexandra. First Sherry's hair looks fantastic, and her Blake is my favorite. I just love the dig Alex hits her with on her way out the door. Starts around the 1:55 mark.
