Have you ever been out to eat with a group of people and some of them find their cell phones more interesting than the people at the table? It happened at a dinner table at a wedding I was at a couples of months ago. There were 8 people at our round table and half were doing something with their phones! When I'm out with my friends, apart from some minimal usage, I make it a point to turn the phone to Vibrate and apologize if I even look at it--they get the point and follow suit.
