Albums don't really sell much these days, so a lot of older acts tend to benefit chart-wise.

When Barbra's Partners album went to #1 a few weeks back, it gave her the distinction of being the only artist to have a #1 album in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, and this present decade.

I know sales are way down.. from what I'm reading sales are in the crapper across the board.

Yeah sales are down thanks to being able to download albums cheaper, or just the individual song for like 99 cents
