September 15, 201411 yr Member What one soap daytime or primetime did you always think was cheesy ? I always thought General Hospital was cheesy.

September 15, 201411 yr Member So, basically anything that ran on NBC Daytime in the 90's? Pretty much....Passions, Sunset Beach, Generations and Santa Barbara
September 15, 201411 yr Member Sometimes I forget SaBa survived into the '90s, lol. I actually liked 90s SB better than 80s with KZ in it and her family....with...Eric Close as her son...and Sydney Penny as her daughter......F. Smith as her hunky husband....
September 15, 201411 yr Member The glimpses of DOOL I'd catch in the '90s, like Sami scheming aloud to herself in a not even remotely naturalistic way.
September 15, 201411 yr Member Bell did stuff like that on Y&R and B&B too, but for some reason, the way it was produced and acted, was much more grounded and not as cartooney.

September 15, 201411 yr Member http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3V_z-9oYvU I simply do not have the time for the so-called Gloria Monty "glory days" of this serial.
September 15, 201411 yr Member For a long time, B&B. Even Sheila couldn't get me to watch the show in the '90s because I thought the acting was absolutely pathetic. And Y&R has always been my show, so you'd think I'd be interested in another Bell soap. But I was young and maybe stupid, and I appreciate clips I watch now. How could I have missed out on the brilliance that was Sally Spectra? Sunset Beach, definitely. OLTL and GH prior to their Gottlieb/Malone and Riche/Labine makeovers. Hilariously, though, I ate up Reilly era DAYS with a spoon. Edited September 15, 201411 yr by Faulkner
